Works good bought this for my son but still lags on gaming but not just in online gaming but offline games too i realize lagging online is latency due to wifi signal & usage but thats not the case as i mentioned told my son to test but he never mentioned anything till now so Im having issues with expensive returns after return window closes & my trust with Amazon is decreasing my husband will have to contact support if anything is wrong cuz they have given me a headache recently.

My only complaint is the battery life. But it was a great price and I was able to add an extra 1tb storage and 32gb.

Imagine my 10-year old son’s disappointment when he saved up $1200 to buy a gaming laptop and it finally arrived- excitement high- only to find the piece of $hiY didn’t even turn on. Very very disappointing and just sad for my son. Thanks, Acer. Buy elsewhere if you’re a consumer reading this.

I really like how easy this laptop is to upgrade. Immediately upon receiving it I added 2 16gb RAM bringing it up to a total of 32RAM. You can add a total of 32 to this one. I plan to also add a PCI-e ssd to it since it’s so easy and has an extra slot. Maybe later on I’ll add the 2.5 ssd!

Would not charge or turn on. Acer support wanted me to send it back so they could try to fix it instead of just replacing it. Amazon refunded.

Con. Okay so I ordered this laptop for my daughters birthday. So on day one I told her it will not turn on till you charge it so first thing she did was plugged it in and let it charge a few moments later we powered it up and my daughter was super excited so she went on to download a game she likes to play online. So the next day she goes to play the game and the screen froze shortly into the game so first thing was to wait to see if maybe it was lag but after a minute or so nothing still froze. Mouse didnt move so next I pushed alt, control, delete. Nothing so the ESC and nothing then the windows key. So I powered it down and powered back up keyboard lights up but no display so I hold the power key down for 15 seconds nothing. So I decided to power down again and power up and nothing but the keyboard powers up. So I this point Im upset and my daughter is super bummed after being super happy and excited a moment ago .so I called costumer support and they let me know that my computer is under warranty and it can be taken care of but I get cut off and Im running late for work so I decided Id call back after work. So I called again and talked to costumer support again so went through the same conversation and then they said they could refund my money or replace it I optioned for a replacement they said ok but because of the price there supervisor would have to ok it I said ok so after about ten minutes on the phone the till me that there supervisor cant ok the transaction that they have to wait for the morning supervisor to do this I said fine and that I would be contacted the next day....... Well its been so its been 4 days and nothing Im starting to feel scammed by Amazon for some reason. So in my opinion stay away from this laptop and DO NOT BUY ANY Electronics from AMAZON.

After trouble shooting multiple reasons as to why my first order of this laptop would not charge or turn on, I returned the item, waited a week for the refund, then re-ordered for my son-only to have the SAME issue. Do NOT purchase this Acer laptop. It’s a waste of money and will not charge or turn on. Now I get to repeat the process again. Huge disappointment.

I love this Laptop! I play online and the graphics are fantastic!

I’m not a heavy gamer, but I do play Sims 4. Have all the packs + some mods and cc…. The fans working overtime seems normal, I guess I didn’t expect it from a gaming laptop so easily. But the battery can drop super fast when I have it running… Haven’t tested it without. As for the game running… It’s awesome. Short load times, great graphic settings supported, annnnd the screen is huge. I love it, but don’t know any better as far as assessing for more demanding games. Ah, and the volume is super low… LOL it does what I bought it for, though. And that’s what counts!
