> 24 hourMy last computer was an Acer and I’ve been pleased with the performance. I don’t use it as frequently since it’s almost 4 years old now. Having a newer computer under $1000 that has the updated features and capabilities is what the Acer Nitro 50 offers. More power, better graphics and overall better experience. Upgrading every few years to the newest technology can be costly that’s why I typically try to set a budget of less than a grand. I am not a big gamer but for occasional gaming, work and personal tasks this was perfect for me.

> 24 hourGreat machine. Had up in running 30 minutes after unboxing. Using for home office and games. Added new set of 3200MHZ 16GB Ram sticks and machine recognized correct speed in bios. Upgraded to WIN11 and so far, so good. Playing Flight Sim and looks incredible. Fast little box with lots of bang for the $.

> 24 hourAfter having this system for a while, I will go ahead and say an extra 8gb stick with of RAM is required to get full utilization from this system. I also bought an extra m.2 ssd. Gaming- with this system and the upgrades purchased for it, I am able to play games mostly in QHD and get 50-60 fps. I am also able to even play in native 4k (high or medium graphics preset) and get above 30 to 40 fps. Solid gaming experience. Production- as a side hobby I am a music producer, and use FL Studio 20 as my main work environment. Compared to my previous system I am able to have a fast, steady, and smooth workflow with the increased processing power of the 11th Gen Intel CPU in the system. Lastly I upgraded to Win 11, and I can confidently say this system is pretty much capable of anything you throw at it. Can’t forget the upgrade path also, for future upgrades to the CPU, GPU, more RAM etc. Overall- I am happy with the purchase, but I recommend upgrading the RAM and getting more storage.

> 24 hourPretty decent value, I think, for the price range. I use it for Steam gaming and CG art. Looks fairly cool with red LEDs on the inside. Havent upgraded anything except adding a SATA and nvme SSD just to hold Steam games. Might add RAM in the future, but has enough for most of my uses.

> 24 hourI like the computer. It was easy to set up and it definately works well for startup gaming. Its only real downfall is the Norton security. It had pre-installed software to help manually manage cooling, I ran CS:GO with high settings and it didnt lag. I would 100% recommend. Ill post some videos soon too.

> 24 hourI did my research and there were a lot of mixed reviews. Good and bad. I decided to go with this PC because it fit my needs at a reasonable price. After 1 month (a few days past the return date and maybe 24 hours total use) the computer stopped working. It became a brick and nothing would work. I worked with Acer to trouble shoot the product because it was under warranty. I had both good and bad experiences with their CS. Eventually, they told me to ship it to them for repair.

> 24 hourMy husband works as a gamer. He often runs 5 games at the same time on one computer, using two screens. His custom built computer is 9 years old though. It mostly handles that activity, it has 32 GB ram and 2 GTX 380 video cards, and is an i7 as well... but again, its older. I got this for him as a surprise Christmas gift as I know any day his computer might go and he would need a back up.
