Overall great lalfor the money. Screen is ok but not great. Keyboard is nice with backlit keys is nice. Boot time is excellent. Graphics ccan handle very high end games easily. One huge problem, cant hear a damn thing from the speakers. I tried everything including sound boost software and obly way you can hear anything is if you stick your ear near the speakers or use headphones. Headphones sound is good. Speakers are garbage. Any smartphone speakers are lauder then those speakers. Overall good laptop for the price if you dont plan on listening to anything over the speakers.

It showed up fast...in 3 days. So far I love it. Its very fast and good build quality. I wish the speakers were louder and the battery is okay but not great. Im real happy overall though. A good value for such a good build. The wifi and bluetooth is strong and has great range. I love how tough it feels. Its sturdy and metal Not slim and fragile plastic like most laptops these days. Make sure you get all your windows updates when you get it or you may have some issues. The keyboard lighting is great and I like the bright blue hawk emblem on the back of the laptop. Startup is super fast...like 10 seconds from pushing power button its ready to go.

I Had a little issue with the killer wifi being installed, so I had to delete all the wifi drivers and reset then connect to and LAN redownload and it has worked great. Also, in order to get the RGB keyboard instead of just the blue when it first turns on need to go into the predator software and go to lighting and Walla.

This laptop can do everything. Its only only for gaming. I use it a lot for video editing. though I upgraded the RAM to 16mb. This laptop is a beast. I LOVE it. If you are looking for a great laptop, look no further.... go for Acer Predator Helios 300. Thank you....

From opening and closing the laptop various times the wire for the video camera fails if you don’t have it at a certain viewing angle. I didn’t do my research properly but the video camera wire is notorious for failing in this particular modal.

Its amazing!! I love it so much! On this the batter does die a little fast but it does have led keyboard lights and it has 14 cores!! Laptops usually only have like 4-8! It is amazing for the price. It was super easy to set up, and even came with stickers! And a passport. I am so glad i got this one. Definitely would recommend! It came packaged really well thankfully, and with its own little protective case and lining for the keyboard. The Amazon box looked like a dog chewed it.

Very pleased with this laptop in terms of speed, noise level, and features. There is a slight amount of light bleed around the edges of the screen, but I dont use it in a dark room so it really isnt a problem for me. One of the reasons I chose this model was for ease of access for a SSD addition as a secondary drive; very straightforward. (I didnt have to remove the motherboard like some competitors do.)

Fast to start up, has worked well with occulus link/virtual reality games (half life alyx and Asgards wrath) at medium settings as advertised. If you turn up VR settings to high you will definitely get high CPU and GPU temperatures, but i would say this is expected for a laptop.
