For what it is, this laptop is a pretty good and relatively cheap gaming laptop. However, I have had my laptop repaired once and die twice in the span of 3 months.

after I update BIOS driver and graphic card driver, black screen boot loop happend.

One month after purchase, all 3 standard USB 3.0 ports started having issues. Devices plugged into the ports will disconnect unless the cord was oriented properly and precisely (possibly a lose connection?). Ive tried disabling USB selective settings, checking the drivers, and even physically trying to tighten the USB ports by pulling the USB port clamps up with a screwdriver. None of it seemed to have an effect.

After sending back my other computer (an Acer) I paid the extra 100$ and got this guy for gaming. After 30 minutes of updates....It blew my mind how awesome this machine is. The keyboard lighting is fully customizable. It has overclock setting built in so you do not have to crash your computer a bunch of times to get it right. I play all my games on Ultra and it is 100fps+. I am so glad I went with the Predator and will be staying with this from now on. Also, I will be installing a 1tb SSD in the empty slot to add more space. Cant say enough good things about how light, stylish and out of the box ready for gaming it is!

Not sure exactly what mustve happened, but I guess I was one of the unlucky few who was given a botched version of this laptop. Right out of the box, it was completely unable to operate the webcam, no matter what I did to try and fix it. The trackpad would occasionally lose control and start acting very sluggish, sometimes for a minute or more, before snapping back to a normal speed. Various other glitches would arise, some of them lingering, some of them starting and stopping. Whats going on?

For the price I hoped for better quality. Battery life drains fast while doing basic internet browsing.

This is a well built Laptop and looks good, as advertised. Very pleased. No problems setting it up. I would recommend to a friend.

I have always played real games on Xbox and never really wanted to play on the computer for real games. My husband bought me this and then I installed steam and got eso (elder scrolls online). The loafing screens, graphics, and just over all smoothness. Best laptop for gamers.

Used for general gaming. very happy with it until it just didnt turn on one day. replaced the cord and it still wouldnt turn on. so. yeah. rather put -out :(

From opening and closing the laptop various times the wire for the video camera fails if you don’t have it at a certain viewing angle. I didn’t do my research properly but the video camera wire is notorious for failing in this particular modal.
