All around love the laptop. Can play anything and is lightning fast. Seems to run a bit hot, so we bought a cooling pad which seems to help a great deal.

I purchased this laptop back in June/July of 2019 when it was on sale. Up until a week ago it was working well. My only issue previously was one of the fans had made some noise, so a few months ago when it began I popped-off the back covering & compressed-air cleaned it best I could. It cleared-up the fan noise & just like I previously stated all was well until last week. I was playing a game, screen froze, the laptop made a single tone for about a second then died. When I turned it back on it said No Bootable Device. According to the computer tech I took it to apparently the controller chip when kaput on the Kingston 256G M.2 & the proprietary Aero-Blade fan is going out too with a ball-bearing(s) making sounds. I contacted Acer & they estimated charging me $579.99 for a not even a year & 1/2 old laptop & charging almost 60% of what the laptop initially cost me. I see now why Acer cut-down their warranty from 2 years in 2018 to 1 year for 2019. Is it possible I got a lemon asolutely, but I cannot recommend Acer after this experience. A laptop shouldnt have such catastrophic problems this soon.

With Acer is the second time i have troubles installing Linux. Everything else is perfect

For $1200 or less than that price tag, its literally the best gaming laptop one can buy currently. You can look up Dave2D youtube channel too.

I received the laptop brand new unopened. But after taking it out of the box, I found the metal frame on one side has a slight bent at one USB port, which surprised me as a brand new laptop. Obviously, it was a manufacturing defect that went unnoticed during QC. I am sending this laptop back to Amazon for a replacement and will see how they handle the issue. I will update my experience later.

Bought this computer for gaming + basic usage (MS Office, internet, everyday life programs). For the price it has done an amazing job.

The laptop is great if you just want to game on it. Its more of a gamin Desktop which is bit portable, so if you device is at home all the time go for it but remember as soon as you take it out you are going to struggle.

Overall, this is a very good machine. it has built in overclocking capability if you need that little extra power. Graphics are great! With the 16GB of Ram, it handles the largest data sets I use in Excel with no lag time.
