I bought this laptop 2 years ago and upgraded the ram from 16 gbs to 32 gbs also added a total of 3 tbs of storage (x2 ssd/x1hdd) and the only issues that ive had with that time span was the gpu quit working and had to replace that after the first year. And about the only other issue would be if you are gaming using your keyboard the letters rubbed off and even wore a hole in one of the buttons as shown in the picture. But hell after 2 years thats honestly really good. The ram upgrade and storage upgrades i purchased will be listed below..Im pleased with my purchase and probably will upgrade to the 2021 version later this year hopefully the keyboard doesnt wear like this one did but I can live with it.

Lighter than previous version, quieter, faster, less sturdy, not sure if its as durable but not a bad trade off. Screen its a little better looking.

I go to college away from my home town and I go home for the weekend on occasion. I picked this up on Black Friday so that Id have a solid option to play on when I cant bring my desktop, and it has exceeded my expectations. I normally play on a pretty beefy desktop with a 27 144hz 1440p monitor, so I thought I might notice the 1080p screen more, but with the smaller screen, I dont really notice much difference in quality. I havent had any trouble running games decently either. In fact, I get about 90+ frames the majority of the time in Destiny 2 with medium settings. After playing for a couple hours, I honestly forget Im even playing on a laptop.

Only complaint is a short battery life (4 hours). Other than that amazing purchase!

I bought this to use for video editing only and this was my first foray into PC computing after being a mac user for 30 years. I have to say - I love this thing. Of course I deleted all the bloatware first thing and had to disable the virus protection and turn the firewall off, but man, it eats 4K footage for breakfast and cost me 1/3 of a comparable macbook pro. One thing I had to fix was the audio driver which adds processing to anything you play. Acer was absolutely no help and basically played dumb when I asked them multiple times how I could turn off the audio sweetening, but I found an online article which had a download of the HD audio driver that allows for accurate sound reproduction.
