> 3 dayThe laptop did not come in the original packaging and was missing some attachments as I have seen in product reviews, but that is fine. I purchased the unit used for under $800, so I figured the laptop was an open box. No scratches or dents in perfect working condition, so I got a steal. The only downside is, the laptop is for my son, however since it’s used I was not able to add insurance. I can hold my own when it comes to PC/laptop repairs so not a deal breaker. I did notice that upon setup, I had to plug the laptop into an Ethernet for setup. WI-FI was a greyed-out option until Windows 11 booted, then I was able to disable airplane mode. My hard work paid off.

Greater than one weekEverything of the laptop almost look perfect to me except a hardware defective. So the issue I had with my laptop is when I plugged in my headphone into the jack, the left side is always not working (apple headphone has no sound while Acrux just has buzzing sound and both headphones work fine on my other laptop) while bluetooth mode fully works. After several hours of research and talking to multiple Acer technician on chat and on phone, we went through several debugging processes like reinstalling the audio drive, checking the balance setting and other properties of headphone, resetting the power and so on. And the final conclusion is there is hardware issue and I need to send the laptop to their repair center (shipping fee is covered, but I have to buy packing materials myself and meanwhile this process might take like 10 days). Though this is not a big hardware defect, it is super inconvenient that I cant use my wired headphone on it.

> 3 dayI upgraded the 3060 version with one TEAMGROUP T-FORCE CARDEA ZERO Z330 1TB, and a TEAMGROUP Elite DDR4 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) 3200MHz PC4-25600 CL22 kit, the SSD NVME was not immediatly recognized, but I only had to give it NTFS format due to unallocated memory data, no BIOS settings needed for it to detect it afterwards, I have not yet tested its performance, but the screen has at least 350 NITs, overall feels very solid.

> 3 dayThis Acer Predator laptop is more expensive than other Acer brand lower level gaming laptops, but its hardly upgradable. It has weird design in the bottom case with very sticky parts on the hinge and side. Even with proper toolkit, its difficult to open the entire bottom case for RAM and SSD expansion. Most importantly, the laptop comes with Windows 10 Home 20H2 version OS. After initial set up of the laptop, it requires to do mandatory updates to keep up with the current system. After a few seconds of wait, the laptop tries to restart and said Windows updates are running. Then the nightmare loop happens again and again. The restart process has repeated over 50 times, but the laptop has not finished Windows updates for more than 10 hours. Just returned the laptop with original box and accessories to Amazon within 24 hours receiving it. Do not bother to contact the manufacturer for technical support, since they will tell you to do the same. The only way to resolve the issue is to open the bottom case and take out the SSD to wipe out the defective Windows 10 Home OS 20H2 version (its not compatible with latest 11th gen intel processor), and then reinstall Windows 10 Home 21H1 or Windows 11 on the laptop. You cannot do that on your own, since the laptops bottom case is very difficult to open.

> 3 daythis laptop is a upgrade to the acer nitro 5 laptop i got back in December it just couldnt cut it for gaming while this thing has been running quite well since i got it my games for the most part have been running fine though i would recommend upgrading ram to 32gb depending on the games you play as some game configurations wont leave you enough ram but for the most part ive been quite happy with the laptop ive only had it for about 10 days so far

> 3 daySo I just returned this laptop, I received a defective WiFi card with mine, that made it so if the laptop was ever turned completely off, I would have to restart my router to be able to reconnect. The metal edges along the side, are extremely uncomfortable, and also would sometimes give me a slight shock. The cooling was great, and when it was all working it did game fine. I would say for the money purchase a product with a better build quality. Alienware M15 R4 or R6 are great options, as well as the Lenovo legion 5 pro. Those are the things I wish I would have known before I bought this, so hopefully this helps!

> 3 dayCompré esta laptop porque decía que sirve también para multimedia, pero no tiene lector de tarjetas SD. Tuve que comprar uno aparte para conectarlo vía USB.
