> 3 dayMaybe hardcore gamers can nitpick this gaming laptop, Lord knows youtube is filled with many opinions about it (this review is for the US version...apparently corners were cut in some markets resulting in a performance hit), but after a month I can say that I think I nailed it on price vs. performance after days of research and given my sub $2000 budget. It has the requisite 16gb of RAM and the 6gb of ram on the 3060 future proofs it for a few years. (I almost fell for the 4gb 3050ti...dont do it). It is very expandable. I immediately added a 1 TB NVMe drive and found it easy to open the case and install. There is room and supplied adapter for another SSD beyond that, or you can take that spot over with a larger battery. RAM is removable. I am not a hardcore gamer so I am very happy...havent found a game or tech demo that the 3060 cant do at least 60 fps at ultra settings. Most older games run around 120-140 fps. Build quality is not up to par with the higher end business laptops I am use to, but it is not far off. This was a very good buy at $1200.

> 3 dayI have been using mine for over a year now and I am quite satisfied with its performance. It runs all my games and programs (but there was some minor glitches when running RDR2 that I couldnt fix). The buttons are a bit flimsy though. A couple of the buttons cracked and fell apart.

22-11-2024I was expecting a lot admittedly when I replaced my Acer Spin 3 for the Acer Predator as I needed power to easily operate Adobe Software and play the occasional game without issues so I was willing to give up a touchscreen and a fingerprint reader. I am a graphic designer and I consulted with my tech-savvy brother and he narrowed it down to the Predator and another computer when I explained power-wise what I needed. Part of me wishes I had chosen the other computer to see if it would be more reliable.

> 3 daySo I just returned this laptop, I received a defective WiFi card with mine, that made it so if the laptop was ever turned completely off, I would have to restart my router to be able to reconnect. The metal edges along the side, are extremely uncomfortable, and also would sometimes give me a slight shock. The cooling was great, and when it was all working it did game fine. I would say for the money purchase a product with a better build quality. Alienware M15 R4 or R6 are great options, as well as the Lenovo legion 5 pro. Those are the things I wish I would have known before I bought this, so hopefully this helps!
