I just received the Acer Predator X32 FP today. I ran some tests after unboxing. I noticed two yellow spots in the lower left hand side of the screen. They are mostly visible when Adaptive Dimming is disabled and viewing a dark background. The packaging and the monitor do not show any physical damage. This looks like a manufacturing defect. Other than the noted issue, this monitor has a very nice and bright display. It also Has a 90 watt USB-C port that allows me to connect my laptop for both video and charging with one cable.

I have ordered two x35 predator monitors through amazon and have been extremely unhappy with this monitor. The first monitor, attached picture with damage right side of the screen, arrived that way. When I first contacted amazon about this monitor they said it was a manufacturer defect and they would not take my return. Agent connected me to Acer and they informed me that if it isnt a manufacturer defect I would have to pay for it! I hung up and called amazon back and had to demand to speak to a US representative before I could get someone who actually would process a refund. I returned the monitor, amazon quickly refunded my money back and I had to wait until the monitor was in stock before I could order another. Ordered the second monitor and this one arrived and it actually could work. However; one I was able to finally get the monitor set up I noticed that it had several issues.

In other reviews people talk about aloud fan not at all. Very easy to use. Gaming is Insane on this I leave it at 144hz for full color hard to push 200hz highest settings even with a 2080ti

This thing rocks, no dead pixels and no crazy backlight bleed. Couldnt be happier. Definitely worth the money.

This my first Gsync monitor and it is well worth the price. Dont get confused like me if your also a first time Gsync buyer. When enabling Gsync through Nvidia control panel make sure Gsync is enabled in the option and there shouldnt be a 3rd option since it Native Gsync. I spent hours apon hours and even reset pc entirely thinking i needed that 3rd option box to be checked since it would not show up. I guess from a website i seen a native Gsync also did not have it while2 other different monitors that was, tested Gsync and compatible Gsync had the 3rd option of it. Also Gsync demo software if you use it and have gsync off you wont be able to use the gsync box in that program if that helps also.

I recognize people are having issues, but I am not. Completely love the picture and gaming on this monitor. There is some haloing with FALD on, but not enough to bug me. No dead pixels, I run it at 144 (mostly RPG, sport and strategy - I dont need 200mhz FPS) and keep the OD on normal. I dont see flickering or scanlines and yes, I play Witcher 3 on it. The snowy picture does flicker, but thats not a realistic scenario for me. Fan is not audible 99% of the time (matter of fact, only when off sometimes). My most recent monitors have been an Acer X34, Acer XB321HK, and a Samsung CHG70. I think this monitor is better than each of those. The CHG70 has more saturated colors (which I love) but the FALD cant be beat and is amazing with HDR content, so worth the trade off.

Update: I believe I just received a bad unit. The Display Port connection stopped working altogether. No amount of restarts, cable swaps, and/or alternative sources (Laptop and PC) were able to bring it back. This may explain many of the issues I was encountering.

Bottom line, I have a decent amount of disposable income and I ended up returning the monitor. It just isnt worth the cost.

Monitor kicked on after PC came out of sleep. Noticed a stuck red pixel in the upper right of the monitor. Seriously? After less than a week, this monitor already has a stuck or bad pixel. Tried leaving the monitor off for a day, the pixel recovery programs that the interwebs say to try. Nothing worked. For the price I paid, I expect better from Acer. This was a great gaming monitor. Division 2 and Destiny 2 all looked and played beautifully. But sad that this happened so soon. I will be returning to Amazon.

I have had this monitor for about 3 weeks (been waiting for about 3 years). I have been building high end gaming PCs since about 2001, and this is probably the single biggest (and most expensive) advancement in gaming technology I have ever seen. In second place is probably the first time I switched to a SSD a decade ago and nearly eliminated load screens.
