Well, the display is good, but not great. I am so frustrated that I have been wanting to spend a good chunk of money to get a good ultrawide monitor and they keep coming with either a large amount of ips glow or dead pixels. Dont get me wrong this puppy had a ton of backlight issues, but they went away by turning FALD on. I am tired of this. Acer didnt even try with their packaging it sucks to say the least and it doesnt feel premium at all. There were some good things about this monitor, but not enough justify the price. I will keep my good old TN panel that honestly doesnt come with the annoyances of IPS and VA, hopefully they manage to come with good OLED, or a better implementation of what ACER is trying to do here.

Prior to this monitor i was running a 4k monitor with a pretty low refresh rate for about 2 years. Have been patiently waiting for the x35 since it was announced many years ago and have been constantly checking their website since. Wow was i blown away with the image quality and the HDR, the image quality was not as good as the 4k monitor i had prior but with the addition of the HDR1000 and higher refresh rate this thing is far beyond any 4k monitor out there. It did take me a bit to get this thing dialed in properly but man was it worth every penny!! I have had some halo when HDR is on and there is an all black background, also regarding the fan i have noticed, oddly i only hear it when the monitor is off but my Pc boots up, for whatever reason it turns on and goes off when the monitor is turned on.

Was curious on MiniLED monitors in 32 and this was the first one available from reputable brand state side. From the pane perspective: the uniformity is great. The HDR setting works great in Windows PC. Mac videos looks good, but the generic areas looks washed out if using HRD. Gamers could see some blooming as has been reviewed by people with better eye than me. HDR videos looks great. I use it for productivity (coding and phot editing). Very pleasing to look at images or videos, but it should be for the price. For my purposes it is appealing, but one has to decide on their perceived value for money.

Monitor looks to have been opened before and sent back. Backlight is so dim I can barely see the icons. Bad backlight.

I just received the Acer Predator X32 FP today. I ran some tests after unboxing. I noticed two yellow spots in the lower left hand side of the screen. They are mostly visible when Adaptive Dimming is disabled and viewing a dark background. The packaging and the monitor do not show any physical damage. This looks like a manufacturing defect. Other than the noted issue, this monitor has a very nice and bright display. It also Has a 90 watt USB-C port that allows me to connect my laptop for both video and charging with one cable.

Update: I believe I just received a bad unit. The Display Port connection stopped working altogether. No amount of restarts, cable swaps, and/or alternative sources (Laptop and PC) were able to bring it back. This may explain many of the issues I was encountering.

1000nit, 144hz, 10 bit ultrawide true HDR takes gaming to a new level! Explosions in BF5 are blinding. Fires burning in the middle of the night during Metro Exodus actually glow, words cannot describe how amazing Assassins Creed Odyssey looks in HDR! As for ultrawide Madden and NBA2k? Wow, to see WRs on the edge and to fast break seeing more than just half court, I could never go back. Its expensive, but if you want ALL of these features it is worth the price of admission. I have no regrets. Tip: although this monitor is capable of 200hz to get 10bit you have to stay at 144hz
