> 3 dayAs a student I wanted a laptop that would be phenomenal for both school as well as the occasional gaming (FPS title such as Valorant, Overwatch) and this laptop proved to live up to my expectations. However, I will say that I highly recommend you get an external monitor to use alongside this laptop as it will greatly enhance your experience. The laptop is very powerful for the specs that it has, and the battery life is very decent--often lasting me an entire day. However, my one complain is that the screen quality is not as outstanding. The brightness nits is very subpar so in bright settings I find myself struggling to see what is on the screen (even with max brightness turned all the way up).

> 3 dayThis is a very great laptop and offers a lot of specs that you normally see in higher priced laptops. This laptop is great for the price point and is very fast and has a nice sleek/light weight design. The fan can get loud at times, but it is expected since the laptop only has one fan. The laptop is great for students who wish to run software like AutoCAD and Matlab. It can also handle light gaming. I have been able to run games such as metal gear solid 5 with no issues. Warzone runs fine but will begin to heat up the laptop more quickly. The laptop also comes with an extra SSD slot with makes upgrading a breeze, no need to do any cloning if you do not know how to. You only need to format the new SSD to run. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone look for a great laptop in the 1000-dollar range.

> 3 dayGreat price (especially recently discount). It’s quick and easy to set up, lightweight, only 3.06 lbs. Fingerprint scanner is fast. This laptop only has two USB ports, may need to get a USB dock for additional USB ports. Overall I would highly recommend this laptop.

> 3 daySo, this computer is actually very good. But, for just a little more, you can get its more powerful brother that comes with the 5800u, 16gb ram, & 3050ti. That being said, this laptop is still great for creators!

> 3 dayTotally underwhelmed. It arrived with a ding on the top. Not a dealbreaker. It started off ok, and I used it exclusively for 2 weeks for basic tasks like word processing and surfing the web for research. This did ok for the first month or so, then it just started lagging so badly. Its battery life is horrible, so you will ALWAYS have to have it plugged in. And this is just using something very basic like Microsoft Word and a browser window. It’s humming and getting hot and struggling an hour after firing it up.
