> 3 dayI needed something to keep my side-by-side fridge/freezer closed because my toddler always opens the freezer to sneak ice cream/popsicles and has left the door(s) open on several occasions. The very first time I put the lock on the door handles, my toddler comes in and somehow pulls it off and opens the freezer. Um, okay. I wondered if maybe it was defective but I tried it out and It still worked. After some trial and error, I figured out that I just have to place it higher on the handles where my toddler cant reach and he has yet to open the freezer. I still use it and it works, just dont let your toddler handle it because somehow, theyll figure out a way to undo it.

> 3 dayI’ve been looking for locks to keep our mobile infant out of our cleaning supplies and electronics and the adhesive patches just were not working for us. I ordered these as a last ditch effort and they are perfect! They keep the doors closed enough that she has not yet been able to open the doors even when pulling up with her weight. There is certainly a little give and they would open a bit of she pulled up but not enough to grab anything. I also love that they can be tightened such that the doors would stay closed. Easy to use and leaves no mess.

Greater than one weekI just moved into an apartment and my cat has learned he can open the cabinets. I can’t move everything out of his reach so I decided to use child locks to keep him out. Being a rental I didn’t want to damage the cabinets with adhesives or screws so decided to give these a try. They work great and are easy to use. Now if the cat learns how to remove them we are all in trouble.

> 3 dayThese are easy to use. No installation. If you open and close a lot, it’s a bit of a pain to take off, and put back on.

Greater than one weekI was able to put two of them on cabinet doors but a third just would not work on the exact same size cabinet

> 3 dayWe had been using hair ties and duct tape to keep certain areas of the home childproof. Now that our son is bigger, it was time to get something that would ensure he would stay out of the cabinets. Dont be cheap and use duct tape like we did, these are affordable and easy to use. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars for the durability, is I can see it cracking or breaking easily over time.
