Aftershokz Aeropex Mini (Rebranded as Shokz OpenRun Mini) Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

I expected these to come with substantial compromises and was pleasantly surprised. The batteries will last a full work day, the set remains firmly on my head, it delivers satisfactory sound quality, and the bone conducting technology doesnt aggravate my bad ears. Works with my devices running WIndows 10, Linux (mint, kernel 4.15), and Android (8.1).

I have worn these every day with usage of 7-9 hours. For 3 whole months, I was in love, and then I must have jinxed it by telling someone This is my favorite thing I bought this year!! I went to charge it last night before bed, as I always do right before jumping into a nights sleep. I noticed that the red light charger indicator wasnt turning on, but I went to bed anyway, and now, this morning, they wont turn on. Dead battery, nope, the charger is working... Im so mad!! I had such high hopes and I cant spend another $159 for another pair. This thoroughly sucks!! And yeah, they are useless 5 days after the 90-day guarantee!

I purchased these to use while riding my bicycle on the street so I could still hear traffic. I have recently been using them in my workshop since I can use the earplugs with them. Sound quality isn’t perfect but you can’t expect it to be perfect with bone conduction. Love these.

I LOVE these! I hated having pieces jammed in my ears that would constantly shift and work their way out! The sound is amazing and no discomfort!

I love these headphones. Great sound. I wear them all day at work and have yet for the battery to run out. They fit outside the ear so I can still hear everything going on around me, which is important where I work. The mic is not the best but it works in a pinch for calls and virtual meetings. I have them paired to my computer and my phone so I can switch back and forth.

Perfect gift for my husband training for a triathlon. Keeps him safe and entertained during the boring workouts. I want a pair now.

What I like most about these headphones are their design that allows one to hear the ambient environment. Although they come with foam noise reduction ear inserts, for clear listening in loud environments, I cannot say that I truly feel that the design incorporates any “noise cancellation” per se.

I bought these a couple months ago for the job site. I work construction. Like a radio in the back ground! Awesome!

Incredible sound directly into my ear, yet I can also hear everything going on around me. I can jog on street or in the woods and hear music AND the birds chirping or car coming behind me. They are wireless, Bluetooth, lightweight, easy to use with touch of button, also talk freely on the phone [answers auto, or can press button to decline call.] I love them!

These came highly recommended by a friend. The sound quality is good but not great. Where this headset shines is convenience. You can easily hear your environment, yet people around you are not subjected to (assaulted by?) your music and calls. Call quality is fine and I have had no complaints about microphone performance. Battery life seems longer than is claimed. Comfort is exceptional--I sometimes forget I have them on. Caveats: positioning can be fussy but not overly so. I do not find them suitable for sleep use and the overly loud button-press beep really is obnoxious. The charging cord is proprietary.
