I bought this to wear while riding a bike. Regular headsets are a hazard on a bike since you can often not hear cars or other bikers. I was very skeptical about whether this technology would really work. Well, it does. The sound is much better than I expected. No doubt, when listening to music a traditional headset would probably be better, but I barely notice. I now find myself grabbing these for phone calls and music even when I do not care about being able to hear other sounds.

So far I really like the Aeropex. It is way more comfortable than the Trekz Air. I do not feel the connectors pressing against my ears like the Trekz Air, which causes me to periodically re-seat the headset to relieve the pressure. Also in theory the Aeropex is much less prone to sweat damage like the Trekz Air. I own both, but stopped using the Trekz Air during my workout because they eventually get damaged.

Great you can still hear surrounding

I loved my first set of Aftershokz TrekAir and used them for four years, almost everyday, usually multiple times per day, before they started to fail. I gave them as gifts and recommended them to countless friends. The concept is fantastic. The headphones are light and comfortable and sound great.

I have sensitive eardrums, so I cant use traditional headphones for a long time without getting some pain, so this does the job. I wont criticise it for sound quality, lack of base or music not sounding great because its impossible for the current technology to do so, this is mostly for watching TV, listening to podcasts, etc.

If there is any noise in the room, you cant hear what anyone on the phone is saying with this product. Definitely not worth the money i spent.

I absolutely love these and when they wear out Ill buy another! I deliver Budweiser and wear them all day. I keep the perfect volume where I can listen to my music and still talk to customers and take phone calls.

I love everything about my Aftershokz! The sound quaility is incredible. They fit comfortably and are easy to operate. As a cyclist being able to hear ambient sounds makes me feel completely safe when I ride. I highly recommend the Aftershokz!
