Don’t get me wrong, this is a very high-quality bag. I guess it depends on your chose of gyms. I work out at two locations. One gym, this bag fits great in the locker. The other location requires a shove to make the bag fit. Other than it being a little big for me, I love the bag. It has pockets and zipper everywhere. It has a snug place for everything I need and is outstanding quality. Although it is a little pricy, this bag should last for many years. Actually, everything about this bag screams quality. There is nothing flimsy about it. It is by-far the best gym bag I have ever used. The size and the design provide more space than I need for the gym, but I’m sure it will be used for quick trips and weekend getaways as well. Overall – I doubt you’ll find a higher quality bag for the price. Regardless of your gym requirements, this bag should hold all your needs, and then some.

I put this bag to the test last week on a cross-country flight that involved one layover in a huge airport. I struggle to fly just carry-on, I typically check my bag, but I thought Id give it a try. I found that this bag fits loads of stuff, more than my husbands wheeled carry on bag even though the dimensions are smaller. I was fine squeezing all my stuff in this bag, but over the course of the trip, I found I really missed having a wheeled bag! This bag was quite heavy to lug around, and I ended up pulling my husbands bag while he carried mine. For reference, Im in my mid-50s and I struggle with tasks involving upper body strength. For someone like me, a wheeled bag is probably better but if you have average strength, you should be just fine. This bag appears quite durable, though Ive only used it for the one trip so far. It did have an odd scent when I first opened it upon arrival in the mail, kind of like a chemical fish market mix. However, that smell did not transfer to my clothes in the bag (I packed it the same day I received it). I like the separate compartment for shoes, it took up less space than I thought it would (I wear a womens size 9 shoe and had a pair of athletic shoes in it). I am sure I will get good use from this bag as long as I am not required to lug it around a huge airport!

This is a heavy bag. Most of the weight is in the nylon shell, which I guess this translate into a more durable outside. The walls are definitely thick. Some of the weight also comes from the oversized padded strap. I had planned to use it for a gym bag, but given the weight, I dont think its very practical. It is also a little bit heavy duty for a weekend bag. The bag arrived smelling like salted fish. I think it sat in a humid warehouse for too long and absorbed all the various smells. Some desiccant packs wouldve probably helped prevent the odor. I aired it out for a week, and most of the smell is gone.

I cannot say enough good things about this bag. It’s phenomenal and made with amazing quality. Extremely well built with thoughtful compartments and straps. The durability and sturdiness are top notch. My family used this bag with our travels and we were very happy. I feel that I can trust this brand and will continue to use their products.

I usually associate duffel bags with cheap ugly bags. This one has changed my mind. I saw the beautiful pictures on Amazon and as I usually carry a duffel bag around, I wanted to upgrade to something nicer looking. When I saw the leather trim on this, I was sold. Of course until you feel it, you dont really know what the material is going to be like and this material is incredibly strong and thick. I wasnt really familiar with what 1680D material is but I can tell you its as strong a material as I have ever seen shy of leather. I rapidly put this together which just involves unfolding it and attaching the strap because as soon as I saw how nice looking it was, I wanted to start using it. Unloaded my old duffel bag stuff into this new bag and was surprised that it was way more roomy. It even has an area to put your stinky shoes so that they dont stink up any thing inside the bag and that area has vents. The leather trim looks just as good in person as it does in these photos it really makes the bag very special. If you are looking to have the best looking duffel bag in the block, this is the right one.

I finally wore out my leather doctors bag style travel bag and needed a replacement. Being a vegetarian, I didnt want a leather bag to replace it, so I went with this ballistic nylon bag, and I made an excellent decision in doing so. I am very happy with this bag. It is super tough, lightweight, and it has a huge amount of space inside. It has some nice features, like the shoe compartment that is separate from the interior of the bag in which to store some shoes that have dirty soles. Also, the side compartments on the outside are roomy and plentiful. I like the way this bag feels, and I really like the way it looks. My fiancé got jealous and ordered two for herself. 5 stars.

Having late teen kids is generally good, but mine are always absconding with our luggage. The latest was the loss of my favorite mid-sized soft bag. I have to say getting this mid-sized as a replacement was fortuitous. I am fairly rough and tumble with my luggage and this is a very robust and well-made bag. In terms of materials, the outer heavy nylon material is heavy duty. And it is fully lined, with the lining looking like it will hold up well. All the seems are well sewed, the spots that need reinforcing are reinforced with a bed. Zippers are high quality. The leather accents look quite good. They are not over the top, but do change this from a plain Jane bag to one that looks smart and tasteful. Measurements are: 20” long, 13” high and about 11” wide. People pack differently bu this is a good casual long weekend trip bag for me. It is a good size for airline carry-on. The bag has one zippered internal compartment, one zippered external compartment, and four unzippered external compartment. It also has a shoe/worn clothes compartment, which can extend in or out of the bag. Extended out, which I would not do for a flight, but would for a car trip, the bag becomes about 13 inches longer. The shoulder strap is well padded. I would not call this a “gym bag.” The presence of leather and the nylon outer shell being heavy duty mean you cannot throw it in the washer. And frankly this is too elegant for the gym. But as a piece of of sided and well-made luggage, it is well above most in its class in terms of build quality and looks.

Only issue was the residual manufacturing odor.
