I ordered the large size for my Congo African Grey but the medium probably wouldve suited her better. Regardless, she loves it! :) Good quality-good purchase.

it took quite a while for our parrot to adjust to the toy (it is just the nature of our bird) but now he enjoys bouncing and swinging on it, plus chewing on the rope. Looks like it will last quite a while and we will buy another when this one needs to be replaced.

Installed this yesterday. My CAG seems to like it! Strong enough wire that it doesnt move under his weight, but may not hold as well for heavy birds like Macaws. Thicker than ropes I have ordered in the past. Also like that the colors are more subtle. Ill order from here again!

This was thicker than I expected, which isnt a complaint, especially for the cost since ropes like these can be very expensive. My African Grey loves to climb all over them, and eventually starts picking it apart, but it lasts quite a while. Be aware that the ends just have loops, so you need to use a d-ring or pear link to mount it to the cage; It does come with one pear link. This rope would be good for medium to large birds, but I wouldnt recommend it for smaller birds, it would be uncomfortable for their feet and cause stress.

I’ve purchased this type of perch before and had no problems, but this one has detached from the end cap on one side which caught the attention of one of my U2’s who is now demolishing that end in record time. Rope perches are always destroyed eventually, but the defective end of this perch is probably shortening its life by about half.

My Macaw loves this perch. She sleeps on it at bedtime. Its easy to clean with a quick spray from the hose.
