I’d prefer just to stick with the dyson replacement for the dyson product, but that’s not my wisest financial decision at this point in time. This replacement does the job. It’s slightly more difficult to install and uninstall, but not by much. And it was quicker to fill up/need a replacement than the name brand, but with the lower cost it is ok.

Dyson air filters are in the $60 price range and this filter looks and feels like the original for a 1/3 of the price so I am very happy with this purchase.

This product option saved me tons of money and was easy to install. Definitely saving as a favorite for future purchases.

Dont buy this. I got lured by the low cost and Amazon endorsement. Instead, the low quality of the filter causes it to disintegrate when the heater function is used. The particles ended up getting into my motor and causing damage. I now get the H2 error. I have taken the whole thing apart, cleaned the filter, etc etc as shown online in the YT videos. No go. Today, I went in to a Dyson service centre. They said that the motor is damaged. They no longer manufacture that motor. So the only recourse is buying a new Dyson. OMG. So, long story short, the low-grade Amazon filter damaged the motor. Now I need to buy a new Dyson. This will cost $500 to replace. Wow. This filter is not worth it in the long run.

Fit is about the same. Definitely different filter setup. Dyson filter seems to have more rows of filter material packed in. The genuine Dyson filter is good for 12 months according to their website. This one says its good for 6 months, and at 6 months from when i bought it i began to notice a smell. That didn’t happen with the original Dyson filter. Not a bad filter when Dyson is out of stock, but i was able to get a Dyson brand filter to replace this one once it was done.

Cant get much easier than this and the price is right! This is my second year using this filter as a replacement and the difference is immediately noticeable. The air flow is improved and feels crisper right off the bat! Since its a drop in replacement you dont need to prep anything or make any modifications, just remove the cover and old filter, slide this one into place, and replace. Ill definitely be a continued customer for next year!

I purchased this filter in the fall. It worked great when I was just cooling and purifying. As soon as I started to use the heating function the machine would error out and stop running. I replaced this non- Dyson branded filter with a Dyson one and it works perfectly. Since I am past the return window I am left with a product that doesnt work in the machine it says it is compatible with.

Are use this replacement product to replace the filter on my Dyson fan I did see the review said that somewhere not a perfect fit and I agree it’s not the exact same fit but it does the job I can still use my Dyson fan it can still swivel from left to right I would definitely recommend the price is going shipping was good I had no problems would purchase again
