I had no problem installing these lights, the double sided tape adhered well. The only thing I would suggest is to place a small amount of clear silicone on each connection to guarantee placement.

These lights are super bright and they’re a great color. However, they get super hot when left on for a while, and the adhesive on the back pooped out after 3 days. If you buy these lights, buy some aluminum led strip channels to go with them and keep them away from anything highly flammable. Good for $15 but if you’re looking for a premium product, keep looking!

Very fragile. Had to buy a new one because if pulled to hard it will rip apart and can not extend once broken

The LEDs can even be seen during the day altho not super bright you cant complain and at night they are easily visible from several hundred feet. Ours is a 12v version and works just fine and doesnt require insane amounts of power.

So I ordered both the white and blue versions of these and it started burning out. I had them not as well ventilated and the power supply was reading 12.5V so I improved ventilation and reduced voltage to 11.5V (I had a power supply with a pot for minor voltage adjustments). They worked fine for a couple weeks so I went to see if it was just the ventilation and put the power supply back to 12.5V. They started burning out again in the next day. These strips are way too sensitive to voltage with 0.5Volt above normal operating being enough to burn them out. If you run them lower then 12Volts you might be okay, but make sure you check voltage before connecting.

Tried putting these on a smooth surface and wanted to reposition the strip and the glue and the foam holding it all came off

They are bright. and not to expensive but they dont stick to well to wood at least
