> 24 hourIf you are looking to re-caulk anything - this is your tool! Dont fool yourself into thinking you could use a putty knife, or a straight edge you might already have at home. This tool is key because of the pointy METAL tip. I researched a few caulk tools and most were all plastic. I bought this one because of the metal tip. It helped removed 20 year old caulk in my bathtub. Not the most fun job, but this tool helped A LOT!

> 24 hourWe tried this to remove caulk from our sink (where the sink bowl meets the counter. It wasnt the right shape for this rounded edge and tight space. I imagine this would work better on a straight edge, like a tub or wall. We ended up using razor blades. The above applies to the metal remover part. We did not use the plastic scraper because it would not fit in the space we were working. The one part that worked pretty well on our sink was the black triangle that is for smoothing and applying the caulk. It works nicely and was easy to clean. That said, you could also use your finger and I think a finger for smoothing caulk is almost always the best.

> 24 hourEs una excelente herramienta, justo lo que necesitaba. Puedes rotar las puntas de goma para escoger el ancho del sellado de silicona. Para retirar silicona también es muy práctica. La espatula plástica es muy comoda para raspar cualquier resto sin marcar las paredes o la bañadera.

> 24 hourThis product is good for installing tiles and a well needed tool for renovating. Might I add to keep away from children as it is very sharp.

> 24 hourWhen I saw this tool on Amazon, I thought it would be ideal for my needs, as I was about to start a project in my kitchen that involved roughly 20 linear feet of caulk removal, and when the project was finished, recaulking the same places. Well, the caulk removing end is close to useless. No matter how I held it, it could only grab the existing caulk where the previous worker had put it on too thick, and then it would only scratch some of it off. I ended up using other tools to do that part of the job. If I could separately rate that end, it would be barely one star. A real bust. But when it came time to recaulk, the other end of the tool proved to be excellent. It’s a soft rubbery material that the caulk doesn’t stick to, its angles are about right to keep caulk from smearing on the adjoining surfaces—it works beautifully. I’ve never been a great “caulker”, and I’m still not, but this made it look almost professional. So that end is easily 5 stars. So I have to give the tool only 3 stars, averaging the barely one star of one end and the 5 stars of the other end. Buy the tool for properly spreading the caulk, but don’t expect the decaulking end to work at all.

> 24 hourI got this for a neater look when putting caulking around the tub. Did not work so well for me. Maybe I just do not know how to do it or maybe the caulk just wasnt the right consistency. Is great, though, for getting old caulking off of the tub. Not disappointed that I purchased it. Just not what I expected.

> 24 hourThis does SOOOO many things! Very flexible and accurate. If youre used to using your fingers caulking, this makes it easier and cleaner. Such a little tool with many applications.
