Greater than one weekI bought this because I have a lot of weeding to do, from simple to obnoxious vines with lots of roots. This has made the job much easier. Pulls shallow roots up with each easy, great for cutting through soil and roots. Also use it for a little digging and cutting open soil bags.

> 3 dayI happened to get to use the the Japanese version of this knife and while it didnt break, it felt like if I really tested it, it might. With this knife (so far), I think I would break my wrist before break this knife. I had a cheaper version of this and I broke it after one day of use.

> 3 dayI love LOVE these Hori knives. This is the second one I bought, keeping one down by the garden for weeding and transplanting and one at the house for flowerbed weeding. Though a bit pricey, they are very comfortable to hold and very sturdy and well worth the price.

> 3 dayGreat garden tool. I use it, amount other things, to dig out agave “pups” that spring up in potted agaves crowding the main plant and detracting from the appearance. Cutting edge allows removal of pups where regular garden trowel is worthless.

Greater than one weekThese are so great for planting bulbs, planting, digging up or transplanting perennials and slicing through root balls when planting anything containerized. Orange handles help keep them from getting lost. Love the serrated edge and sturdy construction. I cant live without this tool. These were a good value for the money as well. AM Leonard is a great brand too.
