> 3 dayIve had this soil knife for about a year and its probably my most used gardening tool. A must have tool for any gardener. The handle is plastic but feels solid, and the serrated edge of the knife is extremely sharp and slices right through roots the size of fingers. Also cuts through actually fingers if youre not careful.

> 3 dayHad to buy another because my teeth are wearing out after 10 years of use. I use this for everything! Dividing houseplants and perennials, harvesting, planting, weeding dandelions, planting bulbs, cutting twine, etc... My favorite garden tool ever. Dont waste your money on other brands. This one is well worth the extra$. The inch marks are very handy when planting seeds and bulbs!

> 3 dayAfter reading many reviews, I took a chance and ordered this last year. Its very sharp--I use it ALL the time, and love it! I dig, cut small branches, cut old weed fabric out of the garden as I plant new plants/flowers, etc. (By the way, that weed fabric is SO HARD to cut. Be careful if youre planning to use that! Im on the fence about it. It did help me kill a zillion old weeds without chemicals.) Anyway, this tool is highly recommended!

> 3 dayLove this knife - much easier to use when digging than a hand trowel. I use this to dig holes for small transplants and to dig weeds from slitty places like between patio stones or between two plants. The serrated side works great to cut off the bottom 1/4 of a root-bound pot before planting, and to cut in-ground roots when digging planting holes. I carry my hand tools in a small garden trug and I now reach for this first when planting, instead of the hand trowel. Orange handle makes it easy to spot when you leave it on the ground somewhere. My uncle loved it too, and ordered one after trying mine. Highly recommend this tool. Its also available with a leather sheath, if you wear a belt while gardening.

> 3 dayAn owner of a landscaping company said she had test many soil knives and this is the only model she will purchase for her company. I used it an employee (~2012) and the knife was at least 5 years old with a lot of hours on it. The teeth had dulled a little bit but were still great and the quality of the knife was great and sturdy. No longer an employee, I bought my own in 2020 and wowee, the teeth are even more fantastic and family members that use it rave about the quality as well.
