> 24 hourVery clean cutting and collar does not mar surfaces. Used it on pre-finished maple plywood and performed flawlessly.

> 24 hourThese seem to be all the rage, and the concept is fantastic. However, Ive bent two or 3 bits, even in the drill press. Im not sure what the issue is, as the bits seem to be bending near where the set screw retains the bit. Kind of disappointing, especially for the expensive price point

> 24 hourI saw this product on a YouTube video did some research and ordered it. This thing is awesome and far out performs the countless other counter sink bits I own. Very well made and I love the ability to easliy adjust the depth of the countersink without having to second guess.

> 24 hourDrills very easily, very sharp. If you are looking for a countersink, this is the one you want. Theres a reason so many YouTubers recommend it. I wish the price was a little better, but its a quality made product - I think itll stay sharp for a while, so this should be the last one youll ever need (unless you want a different size). If you do a lot of cabinet building, this is excellent. As my dad says You cant work without good tools.

> 24 hourThis just flat out works great! If you are countersinking screws for whatever your project, this is just great. After a few test drills to get the depth of cut dialed in then it’s easy to drill countersink pilot holes and just assemble your project.

> 24 hourThis is the second one that I purchased. I bought a #8 and at the time thought it was a little pricey. After using it on a couple of projects I went ahead and bought this one, a #6, because it just works so darn well. The annoying part is figuring out which size to buy to work with which screw size. Once I bought this, I got out a Sharpie and wrote a big #6 and #8 on each one. Makes grabbing the right one so much easier.

> 24 hourWorks perfectly. New favorite go to countersink. The angles are good and it is quick and easy to use. If you are having marks after using it. 1. Use it a few times on scrap wood to get the bearing to open up a bit and smooth out. 2. I found you are best to go quick with the drilling. You need to have firm pressure and speed to have it stop the outer shell quickly.

> 24 hourI loved my Amana Tool - 55229 Carbide Tipped 82° Countersink with Adjustable Depth Stop, but only for a short while. Chalk it up to user error. What happened is the depth stop set screw flew out and the bit fell apart. I should have made sure it was tight and then checked it again after several uses. Unfortunately I lost the screw and in my anger threw out the whole bit. Oh well, live and learn. Im ordering another and this time Ill make sure its tight. The performance, for the short time I had it was typical with what youd expect from Amana Tools. Easy to set up and use, minimal marks left behind by the depth stop.

> 24 hourI’ve seen YouTube woodworkers using these, and decided to try one. It’s so much better than those other combo bits. The stop that’s attached makes it much easier, and it spins on its own so I doesn’t destroy your wood. I would like the actual drill bit to be longer, but I will probably just replace that.

> 24 hourI have several countersink bits and this is, by far, the best one I have. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.
