The photo does not do this soft, warm light justice. Im an early riser and like the comfortable feeling this bulb gives to my office. I didnt have the light on when my spouse got up this morning and he commented on how dark the house was. This bulb was exactly what I wanted.

These made me feel like I was living on the sun. I ended up returning them and getting much less brighter bulbs. 4 stars because there was nothing wrong with them, just too bright for me.

Too fluorescent. Wanted a soft warm light

We purchased a couple lamps with pretty teal shades but when we put our soft white bulbs in the lamps the shade color got lighter as expected but also changed to a funky yellower shade of green. We tried a clear bulb and that helped see the color of the shade better but then the spider spokes shined onto the ceiling. Finally we tried these Daylight bulbs and it was the best choice for our lamps. Our shade is back to a pretty teal color and the lights shines nicely in the room. I was not aware that these were even available. Very happy with this purchase!!

Perhaps I should have know this and maybe everyone else does, however these bulbs, in fact all LED bulbs, will not work with a digital light switch timer. I have no doubt that this is a good product and value, but they cant be used with a timing device. The light is a tad bright and takes some getting used to but overall, very good illumination.
