It’s a decent price for a decent cage. I was able to get put together on my own minimal time.

This bird cage from Amazon Basics is a great value. Its large enough for just about any bird you might want to use it for, including parrots or macaws. I will initially use it for a parakeet to see how my children like having a bird in our home, but someday I plan to buy a parrot that can talk. I like the fact that the cage has wheels, so its easy to move around as needed. But you can lock the wheels when you need to keep it securely in one place. It has a slide-out grate at the bottom, which makes it easy to clean. And it comes with 2 food trays and 2 perches as well. You can store food and other supplies on the bottom shelf. For the price youre not going to find a better quality bird cage. Its a great value and should last me for years because of the sturdy construction.

The bar spacing is similar to my cockatiels cage which has a 5/8-inch wire spacing. Setting up the cage was easy as the instructions were simple to follow. There was powder on the metal(you can wipe it off) but I could not find where it was coming from. One of the door for the cups was bent but with great force could go back to normal. I doubt my cockatiels can open the main door. A decent and solid cage for my birds. I will update if the cage ever starts to rust.

The Amazon Basic bird cage is good quality, and I really like the cage has the rolling(two of them have the brake). I absolutely love it. The bird cage assembly using no more than 30 minutes. The bird cage is bigger and higher than I expected. I also like the cage bottom is easy clean up. The bird cage is smooth move about the room. The shelf under the birdcage can store a lot of food and consumables for birds. Pros: - Easy assembly included tools - Sturdy - Easy clean - Made of metal and light weight

This cage is great! It is sturdy and spacious for tiny birds. It rolls easily and assembly was not too difficult. I do not suggest you use this for parrots. They need more space. BUT, for tiny birds like canaries or finch birds, it is PERFECT! I didn’t know Amazon Basics had large pet products like this, but I’m glad I got to check them out. I was very pleasantly surprised. You can buy large cage coverings and since this cage is a pretty standard size, they fit without a problem. There is plenty of space for small birds to stretch their wings, have small nests, use enrichment toys, and have a decently-sized water bowl. All in all, this is a high quality product and I really recommend it!!!

So Im just going to start off with what I didnt like which was this cage was hard to assemble. Ive assembled a ton of cages, tanks and furniture and this just was a bugger and I didnt like it. I got the cage with plans to get a cockatiel and honestly I dont think Im sticking to the plan. Its smaller than I expected. I could possibly do parakeets but I think Ill just hold off for now. That being said once the bugger is together it is a decent small cage that is well put together that would be nice for smaller birds.

I love this birdcage. It is well-made and sturdy and easy to put together. My bird has so much space. Easy to roll and move my bird to other areas of the house.

It’s a large cage and a good value. It’s not hard to build, you just need to unfold it and align it into place. I did however have a little trouble getting the top to fit into the bottom stand. The metal just didn’t line up properly so I had to shift the base around and push down to warp it into place. Do not use a mallet if you encounter the same issue, just keep shifting the walls and apply more pressure. Once built it seems very sturdy. My only other complaint is that the door was warped so it does not sit flush against the cage. There is about a half inch opening that I was able to put my fingers through. It’s not an issue for me but can be if you have birds that are active and might try to wedge through. Overall, my two parakeets love this cage. It’s also large enough for bigger birds such as small parrots.
