Amazon Basics Clear Bubble Umbrella - City

The ad says that the umbrella has automatic open and close, but it is not. It has simple hook and spring to open it when you press the button and disengage the hook. For closing, there is nothing automatic - you reach up and pull against the spring until the hook engages. The umbrella is lightweight. it is pretty small. I like how they covered the tips of spokes with plastic. The spokes feel substantial. The handle is thick and easy to hold. I ordered the completely clear option. it is all white with clear canopy. it is quite ok.

I love the clear design on this umbrella. It actually makes a difference when the rain is coming in at an angle, and I have to also angle the umbrella. This way I can still see where Im going! This is large enough for an adult. The spokes are plastic and metal (not just metal), which feels ok for now. Not sure how that will hold up long term, but Ill update if there are any issues. It does open and close smoothly. The part you press to release it is a little rough. Its not as nice as those auto-open/close umbrellas. The Parisian design is so cute. Would love to see this in more patterns.

This Amazon Basics Clear Umbrella works fine and I like the stars design against the clear background. The dome it creates isnt quite round or puffy enough to be a true bubble shape IMO. The auto-open button works well, and it also closes smoothly without pinching. It has average sturdiness and holds up decently in rain.

I really like the fact that this umbrella is clear so I am able to see everything unlike your standard umbrella. It was bigger then I expected it to be and seems to be good quality. So far so good I am happy with it!

Opens up fast and well. Easy to close. Its not compact, but the curved handle makes it easy to just hang on your arm or doorknob when not using it. Its nice to have the extra light and bee able to see a little more with the clear plastic. Of note though, since the plastic is not super thick, you do have to be careful with the wrap around strap so that you dont accidentally tear the umbrella panel.

I am so glad it was suggested to me to purchase this in case of rain on my wedding day! Rain was in the forecast for my bachelorette/bridal shower weekend, so I grabbed this umbrella that I had purchased months ago to be ready for the big day. It has a great open/close feature where once you pop the clip it jumps open, and you just have to pull it down without hurting your fingers to close it down. It made me want to use it all day instead of begrudgingly needing an umbrella during the winery tour and while walking in and out of my shower. Definitely a great purchase!!

This umbrella is so cute and stylish. I ordered this for my daughter who likes art, so I picked the city design. This umbrella is lightweight and has a sturdy frame. I love the clear canopy because I love the brightness even in the rain. It looks very trendy it can go with any outfit and is very good for everyday use.

I usually have an umbrella in the car so I really dont need one under most circumstances. That said, I wanted another one for the occasions when I am meeting with someone when it is raining. This seemed like a decent umbrella and I gave it a fair shot. Its fairly basic, but it works just fine. I selected the Clear model and it is about as plain and basic as one could expect, and thats exactly what I wanted. It lacks any design or flair. There are three models attached to this listing, and the other two have designs printed on the canopy, so there are options if you dont want an umbrella that is as plain as this one. I happened to want this exactly so I am not disappointed. The canopy is flexible plastic, reminiscent of a shower curtain, and it does keep the rain off whoever is standing under it. The canopy is not huge so it will fit maybe two adults huddled together but it is definitely sufficient as a personal umbrella. Its bigger than a compact umbrella so it will keep you drier than that. Operation is simple. Push the button and it opens. Slide to close and lock again. Price-wise, this is a middle-of-the-road umbrella. There are less expensive ones and there are some that cost much more. I like this umbrella and so far its working out for me. It seems to be made well and it will keep you dry.
