Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This is a great case, cheaper than others I have purchased in the past but equal quality if not better. Fits the WD portable hard drives perfectly.

Also this item is good cause just in case, the external drive is expose to anything like spills it protect the item. So it a most have item.

Cant beat it. I have several of these cases and usually keep the hard drive still in case and 3/4 zipped up when using and plugged into my laptop. Came in handy when someone took my laptop from my lap while I was on the phone. They didnt know it had the hard drive running copying files and it became unplugged and fell to the concrete floor. I was sure my hard drive was toast, but it was fine. Had it not been in the case, I would have certainly lost all my 3 TB of important data. Felt like I was living right that day for sure.

Its great for my Seagate Slim external drive, and although it feels a little cheap, it gets the job done and for $5, I cant ask for much.

This case is very nice and sturdy. I feel confident in placing my external drive in this case and carrying it around in my tote bag to take to and from to work. It has a place to store the USB cord which I really like because the cord tends to get lost if it is not kept with the drive. I have another case that is not as rigid as this one and it doesnt have a place for the cord storage. The only thing I would like to have is a choice of different colors. Other than that, I give it 5 stars.
