02-04-2025Great CPU for gaming and multi tasking. I was able to stream several games at 1080p 60fps alongside a GTX 1060 6gb. It will handle anything that a normal gamer and entry level streamers will ever need it for. I do suggest, however, getting an aftermarket cooler.

> 3 dayI bought this last November and waited on giving a review until i had plenty of experience with this CPU. While i played $110 for it during black friday at the time of writing this its current price is $130. With that price its really hard to reccomend a lesser CPU when granted the 2600 is a couple years old at this point it doesnt make it obsolete by any means. For any gaming load and a gerneral work station it performs extreamly well and with the wraith stealth cooler includes it stays relatively cool while doing so. Overall for an entry level or even mid range system this CPU will work perfectly for any game coming out over the next few years.

> 3 daySi lo que necesitas es creacion de contenido y rendimiento en juegos sin tener que gastar mucho, R5 2600 / 1600 son la p ÚNICA opcion, 6c/12h es el nuevo standard minimo aceptable. Asegurense de checar bien el precio, por que amazon pone en oferta este procesador dejandolo a un precio casi igual que el r5 1600.

> 3 daySignificantly cheaper than the new Ryzen 5 3600 and similar price as the Ryzen 5 1600 CPU meant this was an obvious choice for a budget gaming media centre. No issues so far and feels good to have paid a fraction of the price for an Intel Core i5 alternative and receive such solid performance. No issues with all processing requirements which includes tasks that are CPU intensive such as gaming where lots of things are happening at the same time, i.e. Rainbow Six Siege, Wii U emulation, and more basic needs such as watching movies
