AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler - YD2600BBAFBOX

Im using this as the brain of my new primary Proxmox node. Its been running 7 Linux VMs for about a month and has been solid as a rock. Kinda wished Id waited for the new Ryzens, but I couldnt wait after finding the Asrock Rack X470D4U.

Over the last couple of years Ive bought 4 of these. 3 installed in PCs for my grandchildren and the other in one of mine. I chose these because they give good strong performance for a reasonable price. They are used for online gaming, internet, video streaming and schoolwork by my grandchildren while mine is used for photo and film editing, internet and some light gaming. Ive never come up against anything I or my grandchildren want to do of which this processor is not capable. It was very easy to fit runs quietly and doesnt overheat with the stock cooler provided. (not overclocked)

Super nice

I am normally an intel person, but money was not something I had lots of and needed an upgrade, so I turned to Ryzen, this CPU specifically, and I am happy that I did. Gaming with my GTX 1060 6gb is smooth and performance is amazing, and the stock cooler is really good at keeping the CPU cool, and it was a nice touch to both come with a cooler unlike most intel CPUs, and also pre-applied thermal paste, though I did stick my finger in it to find that out when moving the thing, however the side AMD logo on the cooler annoying, as I had to rotate the cooler after realizing it was blocking one of the 4 Ram slots. After prying off the CPU from the paste on the bottom of the cooler, turned it around and mounted it in the other way, and it fits just fine now.
