AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler - YD2600BBAFBOX

This proc is everything and more. Games, productivity video editing, sound editing, app development. For the average user(not a AAA gamer, programmer or other specialized group) this proc and I am sure the next gen of it are over kill. But for the rest of us it is the money spot at sub 120.00 6 cores 12 threads it does everything and I do mean everything. We can talk clock speed and IPC all day. But lets be honest in productivity , app development, editing and even gaming) you are not going to see or feel any difference when compared to an Intel part. However you can see and feel the difference in the cost savings. I am comparing this experience to my daily driver at my 9-5 which is a 10core 20thread Intel proc.

Bot this for a build of a gaming computer box for my son for Xmas . It got high marks for stability and speed.

Works well under load and gaming. Stock cooler is fine as Im not overclocking and I have 5 other fans in the case. I havent tried gaming and streaming at the same time yet but will update the review once Ive done that.

About a month into it and still running smooth, my older card crashed the system several times were as this chip has had no issues, made very well and works without issue.

This processor is amazing I am playing games on very high settings with no problems at all.

I like that it had thermal paste preinstalled. It was easy to install and works great.
