this ryzen 5 2600 processor runs at 3.4 ghz, not the 3.9 it is advertised at.

I was a little concerned installing the fan, but the performance out of the processor is great. Had to press down pretty hard to set the screws but everything works great.

AMD rules! This CPU is a excellent choice for mid range gaming PC. The AMD CPUs are not affected by the Meltdown security vulnerability like other big manufacturers. Also, this generation of AMD CPUs was designed with resistance to Sepectre security vulnerability.
