> 24 hourLet me start off by saying I put together my am5 build for my sons computer. I couldnt decide between 13th gen Intel or this at the 300 price point. Honestly the Intel is a better performing processor and more versatile BUT eats much more power. This is the right entry point for AM5.

> 24 hourThis AMD 7600x was my first ever AMD cpu. Ive had a really killer experience so far and would strongly recommend it to anyone else thinking of a lower budget AMD desktop computer build in early 2023.

> 24 hourReplaced a box with a Ryzen 5 3600, huge gains. Runs much hotter. I ended up going with an AIO liquid cooler, and with a bit of undervolting you can keep it at under 85 under full load. Its pretty zippy. Kind of wished I had gone with the Ryzen 7, but ive got no real complaints.

> 24 hourGood cpu for the cost. Built my first pc with this. Was able to hit some crazy clock speed, using only the curve optimizer and PBO.

> 24 hourIve topped this CPU with Thermaltake Contac Silent 12 150W and now enjoying with constant squeal of a circular saw. This CPU is very hot, not only in the games, but even when You are opening a page on the Internet. Needs a solid power cooler.

> 24 hourI was initially worried about the 95C temperature targeting making my system too noisy, but thats because I was used to the old way to tune fans. It used to be you had to stress-test your CPU and then clumsily tweak your fan curve to keep it cool while often getting really loud. The new behavior essentially allows you to set the exact maximum fan speed you want since you know the CPU wont go above that 95C maximum temperature.

> 24 hourOver the past year, there have been plenty of problems and discussions with AM5 boards. I had no issues at all. I was going to get the Ryzen 5 5800x3d, but thats AM4, and I wanted to take a gamble on AM5. The 7600x is cheaper and runs plenty fast for me. At the time of this writing, Id venture to say that the 7600x is the best bang for the buck, though Intel prices have come down as well.

> 24 hourThis was my first pc build. Processor seems to be working well. However, their seems to be some stability issues with the default overclocking setting on my motherboard (not XMP/EXPO, that works fine) . Pretty stable otherwise.

> 24 hourThis cpu is a beast. Any compute related tasks are handled with ease...provided you have got a good come for it.

> 24 hourUpgraded from a i7 8700, and it was a much needed performance improvement. It does run quite a bit hotter than some older CPUs, but DONT BE ALARMED! The 7000 series are all built to operate at 95 degrees C, so anything under that is perfectly fine and normal. Regardless, the only time those temps were even approached was with a run of cinebench r23, so youll never reach temps that high during gaming or regular use.
