I was going to get the 7700x but as other reviewers have stated its not that much faster in gaming. I have this 7600x paired with a 7900XT graphics card for 1440p gaming and its a beast of a combo! I did purchased this cpu from microcenter but regardless of where you buy I highly recommend it.

Replaced a box with a Ryzen 5 3600, huge gains. Runs much hotter. I ended up going with an AIO liquid cooler, and with a bit of undervolting you can keep it at under 85 under full load. Its pretty zippy. Kind of wished I had gone with the Ryzen 7, but ive got no real complaints.

Let me start off by saying I put together my am5 build for my sons computer. I couldnt decide between 13th gen Intel or this at the 300 price point. Honestly the Intel is a better performing processor and more versatile BUT eats much more power. This is the right entry point for AM5.

FYI. If you actually want to receive the Jedi Survivor game with your purchase, you have to make sure you follow a convoluted process of clicks under the promotions area. Its not as simple as just ordering the processor. If you just ordered the processor and thought youd receive a copy of Jedi Survivor once the processor shipped, youd be wrong. Feels dishonest.

Good cpu for the cost. Built my first pc with this. Was able to hit some crazy clock speed, using only the curve optimizer and PBO.

This chip has done amazing; I paired it with a 4090 and have had absolutely no stability or bottlenecking issues from the cpu. I havent found a game I cant run at full capacity. Paired with a liquid cooler I have also not run into a single heating issue. The chip hasnt gone above 40 degrees celcius. Naturally be careful because it is a gen 5 chip so if you dont have a motherboard that supports that you wont be able to use the chip. All things aside it is amazing for the price

Over the past year, there have been plenty of problems and discussions with AM5 boards. I had no issues at all. I was going to get the Ryzen 5 5800x3d, but thats AM4, and I wanted to take a gamble on AM5. The 7600x is cheaper and runs plenty fast for me. At the time of this writing, Id venture to say that the 7600x is the best bang for the buck, though Intel prices have come down as well.

Welcome to the new era of performance. AMD Ryzen 7000 Series ushers in the speed of “Zen 4” for gamers and creators with pure power to tackle any game or workflow on the digital playground.
