> 24 hourComing from an FX-8350 4.2 Ghz, this new cpu just runs circles around the old stuff. It overclocks easy also, but it can get warm over 4 Ghz. Im running it at 3.8 GHz with a liquid cooled system, a nice compromise of speed and heat.

> 24 hourIs it as fast as an 9900k in Unreal-based games? No. An 8700? Nope. An r5 3600 at least? Unfortunately no, but if you want something solid for 1080p-4k gaming (the higher the res the closer it gets when compared to higher end CPUs) that multitasks incredibly well this is a phenomenal chip price. Youre basically getting an 8 core 16 thread Intel Haswell Refresh I7 when it comes to performance, but youre only paying $120-$150 for it. Remember Sandy Bridge from Intel? The i5s and i7s that literally lasted a decade? Well I believe this is what you have here. Youre saving a ton of money while purchasing something that will *most likely* be adequate to good through the life of the upcoming console generation with a RAM and Video Card upgrade somewhere in the middle (if you currently have an rx5700/RTX 2070/1080ti or better along with 16GB of RAM; you might need to upgrade to an NVMe if developers start to use that as a quick swap method like the consoles are touting, but I am a bit skeptical on that front. Doubling your RAM will probably be more beneficial unless the storage is somehow faster than the speed of swapping data in your ddr4).

> 24 hourChe dire, il prodotto si recensisce da se su tutti i post. È un ottimo compromesso qualità prezzo..non serve avere l’ultimo ritrovato e spendere il doppio..

> 24 hourDoesnt reach advertised boost clock... Max Ive seen is 3.5-3.6 single core stress test and 3.3-3.4 all core... Using the MSI gaming Pro carbon which is the best b450 board you could get. So no problems there. I was excited when I got this at a deal price (13.7k, 3600 was 17k at that time) but now I understand it wasnt really a great decision. Single core performance isnt good at all. U series laptop chips are giving better benchmark scores smh... Even for multicore, the IPC improvements and higher boost clocks of 3600 will make it better despite having lower core count... May be the deal is to blame. Do comment if youre using this processor.
