I struggled for some time trying to decide on an Intel build or an AMD but I will definitely say I am more than happy with this CPU. This thing is a beast running current triple a games at full detail and only using around 20% of this 8 core chip. Im planning on trying virtualization with it to get the most out of it. Most games only need 2-4 cores.

How can you go wrong. I have had no issues with this processor. It does anything that i throw at it.

blazing fast

After running my AMD fx system for some years now, it was time for an upgrade and for the price, you cant really beat it. This is also probably the first CPU that came with an acceptable cooler in my opinion.

Dead on arrival, bent pins. Had to go to best buy and but a new one.

Got this on sale soon as ryzen 3 launched for 199. Great value for an awesome product!

Amd has really done something special with the ryzen series. It keeps up and runs very nicely. And the price is perfect for so much power. I use it for gaming and hasnt dissapointed me. Stock wraith cooler is nice quiet and has the rgb color.

although this CPU was powerful at the time of its release in 2018. I just dont get it why would spend 450$ on a CPU that original MSRP was 289$? while you can buy a Ryzen 5600x for 289$.
