Updated March 2021 Review: The new 3700X seems happy in my Asrock X570M Pro4. Its been holding it down for a few months, now. Its very quick and snappy with my Gen4 m.2, and easily pushes my R/W speed to the m.2 drives limit (5000/4400 MB/s). The included Wraith Prism cooler does a decent job: The hottest Ive seen it is 83°C under serious load with 100% fans. Out of the box, at idle, it will sit around 2.3 GHz, but when working, it will boost up to 4.395 GHz, and level out at about 3.9 GHz under sustained load. I then slapped a Lian Li Galahad 240 AIO on it, and let AMD Ryzen Master do its Auto Overclocking thing, and now this bad boy routinely boosts to 4.441 GHz, and usually levels out at around 4.2 GHz under sustained load. Very nice.

Acheté pour remplacer un AMD Ryzen 2400G qui galère un peu sur les nouveaux jeux (CoD, Insurgency, BF5 ), la différence cest le jour et la nuit (Vraiment), avec 100% de cores et de threads en plus (on passe de 4 a 8 cores et de 8 a 16 thread ), les lags dûs au bottleneck du CPU ont disparu, le plus est que jai pu linstaller sur une MSI B350 tomahawk (après une MAJ bios), sans devoir changer de carte mère. Je recommande.

For anyone who isnt dropping $6000 on a PC (or doing like a sub-$500 build) this is pretty much the one and only recommendation I would give someone for a CPU right now. It performs at an extremely high level, and was selling for only $280 when I purchased it. I would expect to spend $400-$500 for the kind of performance that this CPU is putting out.

Excellent CPU for the money

I can have multiple tabs open, play a demanding game & have my DAW open running with OBS recording & more all at the same time. I dont do all that at once but you can. 5/5
