AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

This is real great cpu processor

I went back and forth considering Intel or AMD, but ultimately I had to put my money where it would get me the most bang for my buck and AMD will save you hundreds of dollars over Intel. I went with this Ryzen 7 3800x so I could have all the power that one might need for a new gaming PC. I use my PC for gaming on ultra settings and I havent found any need to mess with overclocking options yet, but the fact that theyre so conveniently available for future use is nice. Installation was a breeze and the fan that it comes with has done a great job at keeping the CPU cool along with the 5 case fans I have installed.

Sostituendo un 4770k 4.3Ghz con il 3800x e ram hyperx predator 3200mhz CL16 16-18-18-36 e usandolo un paio di giorni ero gia più ché contento del aquisto e notata subito la differenza nella fluidità dei giochi, caricamenti e uso quotidiano di windows mentre prima avevo sempre i microstutter. Ché dire, un altra esperienza e con un altro po di fortuna sono riuscito a farlo andare 4.3Ghz con voltaggio a 1.200V in confron ai 1.352V stock. In fine, la cpu e stabile e potente e nei giochi e resta abbastanza fredda intorno ai 80 gradi sotto stress se abbinato con un sistema di raffreddamento adeguato come dark rock pro 4.

Useful that the cooler doesnt actually come with the mounting required to install it. Need to buy that separately. Otherwise the CPU itself works excellently.

I have been an Intel fan for a while due to the poor position AMD was in before Ryzen. However I started off an AMD fan many many years ago. This Ryzen 7 3800X puts my faith back in AMD and I am so happy I bought this processor and not another Intel. Time for Intel to step it up. This is a powerful multitasking processor and plays any game I throw at it with ease. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for a beginners build. Its fast enough for gaming and editing photo and video. Able to push all my games at full 1440p, ultra high with no lag. Dont expect this to function like a $1000 cpu.
