The CPU works great, was a great replacement for my old i5 - 4750, the diffrence is pretty notorious in all aspects, great choice!

Bought two of these because I got them for the same price as my 3700X.

This is an excellent processor for gaming. The stock cooler is sufficient even with a mid-range overclock. I undervolted it and overclocked it to 4200 using Ryzen Master and the idle temperatures are in the 40° to 50° c range. Never gets above 75° c when gaming or benchmarking even with the slight overclock. I do also have a case with a lot of fans. I would recommend undervoting it a bit to control the temperature even if you dont plan on playing with anything else. In general I find that this generation of AMD processors are very robust and will tolerate a wide range of voltages and clock speeds, but they seem to be overvolted at stock and run a bit hot.

Great product but the 3700x has more bang for rhe buck.

Bought this for a new system and I must say it has done well under the games Im trying to play at 1440p! Im satisfied with temps however they fluctuate a lot and not sure if that matters because either way the chip performs extremely well for what is needed! Ive read somewhere its even better for editing but cant take my word for it! All in all great chip for my needs which is mostly gaming!

Where do I even start. As soon as I opened the box for this thing I felt the power on a quantum level. The cells in my hands temporarliy destablized for half a second. Then I finally plugged the processor into the board and my heart began beat faster than ever before. We finally started up the computer and everything changed. This is the fastest processor Ive have ever owned and you wont be disappointed. Disclaimer: may cause temporary paralysis because of how much power this f****r gives off
