AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics

Love this Ryzen! I was very skeptical when I read that it has graphics and that I dont need a graphics card, but I decided to go ahead and try it without one. Man, this processor has some great graphics. I play online games, mmorpgs, and this Ryzen is just as good, if not better, than my 2 MSI graphics cards that I had Crossfired! No more huge graphics cards taking up a huge amount of space! Ive always been a die hard AMD fan and I think I always will be. I even just used the fan that comes with it instead of water cooling and its super quiet, cant hear it at all, and stays nice and cool in my small form factor cube. I love it.

Got it to replace an I5-2500k processor and dedicated GTX660ti graphics card for my HTPC. Works great!!! I think the graphics are much better than I had, but I DONT GAME! I matched this with a B550 Gigabyte Aorus Pro MB, Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 X 16GB) ram, and WD_BLACK 1TB SN850 NVMe Gen4 PCIe, M.2. in a fanless chasis by HDPlex. Love it!!! My last system still works and lasted 12 years. Im hoping this one will do the same!

So I bought this processer for a budget land parties at my buddys house. Got it so I would not have to spend so much money on a graphics card. When I got it and put it in the system It was fine. About two days later the graphics started to show some distortion on the screen with means the onboard graphics are bad. I tried to restart it from the home screen on windows 10 pro. It just crashed the pc and locked up My other buddy also got a cpu from AMD and his had bent pins on it. Mine come with a broken fan cooler I hope this is just a bad batch of AMD CPUs. I put in a picture below of what the CPU is doing

The bundled Wraith Stealth cooler is NOT up to the task of cooling the 5700G under load. Running HandBrake maxes out all 16 threads near 100% for however long HandBrake takes to transcode a disc: a Blu-ray can easily take 45min to 60min to complete, during which time the CPU is maxing out at 95C. Unlike some other reviewers, I dont see that as an extreme scenario, I view it more as a real-world example. My system ramps k10temp from 37C at rest to 95C within three minutes (!?!) of starting transcoding with HB.

Runs everyday stuff flawlessly. With 16 3200mhz ram it it’s a great little cpu for a workstation.

Replaced my 4 core processor with this 8 core. Loaded right up into my MSI mobo.

As the price for amd CPUs started to drop they began to hit a really good value point.

Make sure to upgrade your BIOS to latest vers prior to use this processor. This processor needs bios firmware to latest only. Once you yodate the BIOS. You will get display and desired performance from the processor.
