AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

When I got the package, it didnt have any bubble wrap or foam of any kind. The cpu box was torn, the cpu was not secured and everything was shoved in without any thought. I was confused as to why there was an empty half plastic container looking thing in there but I realized that the cooler wasnt even shipped with it. Luckily the cpu wasnt damaged. I bought a different cooler for the pc and its not broken so Im not sending it back but this was the worst handling Ive ever seen.

Très performant. Précision du titre, les 5800x sont des samples gold-tier du 5600x. Du fait de sa conception (1 seul CCX pour 8 cores) le processeur a tendance à chauffer, cest la bonne loterie pour moi (80 en full sur AiO 360), mais tout le monde ne peut pas en dire autant. La fréquence boost est rarement atteinte avec les réglages stock (plutôt 4.5ghz), cependant il est possible (à condition davoir pioché la bonne loterie) de faire un undervolt lui permettant datteindre et de dépasser la fréquence boost en gagnant quelques degrés (5 chez moi).

Vengo da un i7 di settima generazione, quindi sono già abituato a processori che sanno come comportarsi in ogni situazione... questo Ryzen ha decisamente una marcia in più, lo si nota dallutilizzo della CPU sempre basso, credo di non averlo mai visto in difficoltà.

This crushes everything you throw at it, and its great for gaming, the only issue is it runs super hot, even at idle it is on 65 C or more pretty much the whole time , and it can shoot up to 90 C when gaming . I have a 240mm aio with proper thermal paste, and it still cannot handle the heat. I looked this up and apparently 5800xs in particular are known for this issue, and these are safe temperatures . Yes it is safe according to amd but I dont like to have an oven for a pc while pretty much doing average tasks .

Picked this up on black friday and went from a 6 core 3600 to this. The difference has been huge.

El pedido me llego el dia que marcaba segun amazon, ademas de venir con un pulparindo como regalo extra del vendedor, la caja venia en excelentes condiciones pues tenia con una caja de carton dura como proteccion extra por lo que la caja del procesador y el procesador vienen en buenas condiciones

Great CPU for an AM4 Socket Motherboard. The CPU run a little hot (80c), but thats normal for the 5800x. These CPUs were made in 2020, so if youre using an older MB (like form 2018), dont forget to update your bios, otherwise you wont be able to boot your computer because the motherboard wont recognize the cpu.
