AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Arrived damaged (in a damaged box) and when I returned it the next day, the price had risen £10.00 or so and therefore I had to pay for it again while I waited for my refund instead of being offered a replacement. Very very very frustrating.

Don’t let the stars detract from the value. It is a phenomenal CPU but it uses the same watts as the 5900x with less surface cooling area. It’s optimized for the stock form. But the 5900x with more cores has greater cooling area.

Great processor. A huge step up for AMD. This should finally start to scare Intel. Is a hot cpu so make sure you pair it with a quality cooler.

Bueno la verdad que lo compre un poco con recelo ya que por temas personales no tenia confianza en AMD, pero en esta ocasión creo que acerte, y en combinacion con con la placa en la que le puse,va perfectos por que ni se calienta, tambien decir que yo no lo uso para juegos, pero si para corte de figuras 3D, y genial.

Got this as a Christmas upgrade for 271.84$. I then proceeded to watch it jump down to like $230-$220 in the next month. Great processor, but man I feel a bit screwed over, especially since the 5700x went down to $200!

Its too bad AMD had to lower the value of this chip because it uses golden CCD dies that are also needed in Epyc parts and the 5950X.

Great CPU for gaming and work. Runs a little hot so make sure you have a good cooler. Runs around 78C on a custom water cooling setup. Its expected and normal if you consider the TDW and boost speed on this cpu.

Yeah, it’s fast.
