I was expecting this AMD Ryzen 9 to be hot but it is maintaining mid range temps in the low 40s

If youre buying this CPU make sure you add some thermal paste to your cart. Finding this out the hard way.

First of all, I am an AMD fanboy! Every year AMD has been, admittedly behind the curve when it comes to competing with INTEL. However, the tables have turned and now AMD is setting the standard to beat. I am SO impressed with this CPU. You wont be sorry you purchased this jewel... Great value and performance!

With 12 cores /24 threads, for 500 dollars this is a good set up for those who need that for things like VMs, CPU intensive applications. AMD even threw in 3 free games, and a month of xbox live pass. The three free games were 30-60 a piece, so that alone adds quite a bit of value. Im using mine in a small form factor case, temps seem to be stable, Im also using an aftermarket cooler, to be able to fit in the smaller case.

This thing came out of the box dirty on the top. Looked like smudges of old thermal paste. Hopefully, this thing hasnt been OCd into Oblivion with crazy temps at some point. It had a seal on it so there was no point in trying to RMO it. They would just say I was lying anyway.

Très bon processeur, je ne sais pas trop ce que vaut intel mais celui-ci est vraiment au top, avec un overclok à 4500Mhz il reste stable et ne loupe aucun top de synchro
