AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Processor is great so much better than my previous intel and beats out the i9 in every way. I am a creative professional and avid gamer and this chip works perfectly. The only bad thing I could say is it runs slightly warmer than my intel did.

ce processeur est une bête de course, avant jétais Intel, cest fini pour linstant. Monté sur une Asus TUF Gaming PLUS X570, que du bonheur. Après réglages divers paramètres du bios, je suis à 4275 Mhz sur tous les cœurs, je ne dépasse pas les 65°C quand je travaille sur mon PC , principalement de la MAO. J ai remplacé le ventirad AMD par un Noctua NH-D15, au repos 38°C. Test Cinebench R23 je monte à 80°C. RAS.

Did not come with the Wraith Prism LED Cooler. Just a stock AMD fan.

When I first installed this, it immediately started overheating. It is on a new 570 MB that supposedly supports Ryzen Gen3. After much angst, I found this is a common problem if you dont have the correct setup, i.e. drivers and power management settings. Out of the box is not an option for this, unlike my other Ryzen 5 Gen2 which I set and forget. This should be better documented AND AMD needs to properly support Windows Server versions for their drivers and Ryzen software. With proper setup, I can run it under load with temperatures around 70c. Sometimes peaks around 80c, which worries me enough to watch it, but nowhere near the 90-95 I was originally seeing. Bought a 3rd party cooler to be sure I had properly cooling.

Whatched a lot of Gamers Nexus before hand. Used AMD as my first build all the way and came to learn, they have become incredibly reliable with their hardware.
