American Technology Components Single SPST On-Off Switch with Bezel, 12-Volt, for RV, Trailer, Camper (Black)

Not much to say. I installed several of these in my RV to replace existing rocker style switches. They work great.

Nice switch but as mentioned in another review, it was more work to install than I expected. It DOES require a rectangular hole for the body of the switch to fit recessed in the wall so the front cover to fit flush to the wall. More product photos in the ad would be very helpful. I bought 1 to try and it arrived in good condition and works just fine. I bought a 2nd one for another location but it arrived with a bent blade terminal as shown in the photo. I expect it to work fine once its straightened but wont know for sure until I get to that point. Overall ok but expect to figure out how to cut a rectangular hole.

Matches original switches in my RV. Not the standard size spade terminals on the back. I purchased smaller wire terminals, but they did not fit. I ended up using standard female spade wire terminals.

Switch is bulky, it screws to wall and cover snaps on to cover screws. That is cool, but the cover not staying on sucks. Went to NAPA auto found replacement switch. I will use this in trailer Im selling. Also the tabs to connect the wires are smaller than normal crimp fittings you probably have laying around.

So the switch came in a paper envelope and the connections on the back were bent flat and it did not have the plate that connects to the wall, lucklilly I had saved the old ond but it didnt mention that and I got lucky when bending the wires straight and neither broke.

I used this for a 12v back up light in one of our bedrooms. It was very simple to install. It’s perfect for use with solar. I have it hooked to a 6watt LED fixture with low voltage wire.
