Heavy and strong!!! You get two keys but we ordered additional keys because if you loose the key you will never get that lock off the fifth wheel!!!!

This was a great lock in the beginning. However, I did not use my fifth wheel during COVID. The Amplock device remained locked in a secure yard on my fifth wheel. Recently, I took the lock off and I noticed that the locking barrel that slips over the fifth wheel tongue was a bit hard to removed. I used a light lubricant on it. Later, it became more difficult to remove. After the last time I removed it, I was afraid to put it on again for fear that I would not be able to remove it. The locking barrel is keyed and it does not work properly. What good is a lock if even you cannot remove it with the key in hand? DONT BUY THIS! It is a good lock but has a cheap locking mechanism.

We love this lock. It is expensive, but well worth the money. We lock our 46 toy hauler when not hooked up to our truck. It is super easy to put over the hitch. It is very secure. We paid extra money to get a solid lock that cant be taken off by hitting it. Solid steel and a great product. We also have wheel locks on our wheels for extra precaution.

Lock is very heavy duty and well made. It is easy to install onto the fifth wheel hitch and gives peace of mind that the trailer is secure.

So far this has been very easy to use. And I really like how heavy duty it is. Criminals can eventually get through anything but the point of theft deterrent systems are to make it too difficult to be worth it so they move on to the next job. This definitely does that. It would take a while to break through unless you have the key.

locking mechanism feels solid. im not a lock expert, but the keys are unusually designed, so it looks like they would be difficult to copy, and the lock difficult to pick. not cheap, but worth a peace of mind, especially if leaving your RV unattended. Extra points for made in Canada, not China.

This lock is better than expected. It is very robust and built very well. Im always sceptical about some reviews, but as a normal guy/ customer, this lock is worth the money.

First of all, nothing is bulletproof as far as security. With that being said, this lock seems like it will deter dishonest people. The metal is thick, and well coated for preservation. The lock cover is a very nice added feature. It fits on a Roto-Flex pin, no problem. I might also add that it fits on that Roto-Flex pin with a lube plate installed as well, with a good amount of wiggle room. So dont worry if you have a lube plate, shell fit. What I like most is that the key is crazy lookin. Albeit, I am not a locksmith or criminal, I am able to pick locks rather well and quickly, this lock is beyond my skills for sure. I was reluctant to make this purchase at first, secondary to the price, but I am glad I did. If you get one of these locks, make absolutely sure that you store your spare key code (comes on the pseudo key) in your phone under notes or somewhere where you are not going to lose it. Guarantee a locksmith would have a bit of a pickle getting into this lock.
