Andis (Pet) 7-1/2-Inch Steel Comb ,Silver

Perfect comb. Very good quality, this is a very solid comb and the teeth dont fall out (this was a problem with some of my previous greyhound combs). They are also long enough to go through most coats and they are set close enough together that they catch 98% of mats. The rounded handle means that it doesnt dig into my palm and cause me pain, which is wonderful since I use this comb all the time.

This is my second ANDIS 7.5 comb and use for my bichon daily to keep from tangling. This and my old ANDIS are great and must feel comfortable to my dog because he comes to me for combing-out if I show it to him. I bought a second comb to keep in my car when I travel with my dog. I purchased the plastic/steel combs (another brand) but they seem not as well finished and seem to make detangling more difficult. The ANDIS just sails through the tangles and the dog loves it.

Its really a bad idea to use metal as the material for combs. Its too cold to be comfortable for cats unless you warm it beforehand. And the effectiveness of removing the hair is not so higher than that of my hands. But my cat likes to chew on it.

This comb is strong and sturdy. Keep in mind though, it is 10 inches long, So it is very large.

i didnt know i needed this until i tried it. now i wonder how i did without it.
