> 24 hourThe base was disconnected from the body when it arrived. The glue didn’t hold. I reattached it with extra thick double sided tape and now it’s solid. It’s cute to use as a hamster bath, which is why I purchase it, and our Syrian hamster fits very well inside and there’s plenty of room for plenty of sand. One benefit of the base arriving unattached is I reattached it at a little more of an angle so she can still get in but she can go nuts (having fun!) inside and I shouldn’t lose too much sand :)

> 24 hourWe have a rescue Gerbil who literally ate half of her plastic house...I got this coconut as a replacement and she LOVES it so much and has not tried to chew it once! Perfect size...Perfect product. I may order a second one for our Chinese Dwarf Hamster although it may be just a tad big for her. Thank you for making a fantastic hide for my pet!

> 24 hourI love the size and sturdiness of this product. However, it arrived with the base disconnected from the coconut and glue visible that was keeping to together. Trying to gorilla glue it back together now :(

> 24 hourNot enough glue to hold coco onto base so it arrived broken. Hamster doesn’t seem to notice.

> 24 hourBase is cheaply hot glued on. Had to remelt and reattach it. Hampster waste does not clean easily from this product. He does like sleeping in it tho.

> 24 hourhammie (i know, original) loves her coconut. i got hammie in january 21 and have gone through 2 coconuts at this point. if shes not running around her tank, she is in her coconut. the only unfortunate thing is that hammie likes to pee in her coconut so it stinks. this is expected because it absorbs her pee and theres nothing i can do about it other than replace the coconut. i really dont have a problem doing this since she loves her coconut and they are built well for her. its very sturdy, but she is also not a chewer so im not sure how it will hold up against chewing. hammie is a dwarf hamster and about half the size of my palm. this is the perfect size for her where she has a little extra room but its cozy for her. i wouldnt recommend for any hamster bigger than the palm of your hand.
