02-06-2025I had been looking for something better for my sons rabbits hay. Something to keep the hay mess to a minimum. I found this after going through 3 other hay feeders. I love this one. Not only does it hold the hay in, but you can put pellets at the bottom so it does double duty. It also holds enough hay for more than just a day or two. Would definitely recommend this product.

07-06-2025Can be a little tough for bunny to stick his teeth in and get hay out unless you pack very lightly. Otherwise, works as it should.

> 3 dayLove quality dont care for the spacing of the rungs (I wish they were a little further apart).

> 3 dayIn the pic I thought the slats were way too narrow but I tried it anyway. But I was right, the slats are way too narrow to allow unrestricted access to hay for rabbits or guinea pigs. This needs a redesign and has the potential to be a great feeder.

> 3 dayAfter the hay gets to a certain level of emptiness, it is hard for my rabbit to get it out of the holder. The spindles are too close together to let the hay fall out enough for him to grab ahold of the ends of the hay. But if it were further apart, then it might not be safe for miniature rabbits - their heads could get caught. Therefore you cant tall how much hay really is usable in the item. I gave up and just started putting his hay out on the floor of his house like I had previously been doing.

> 3 dayI love it!! This has definitely increased the volume of hay for my bunnies, and honestly they’ve been at this for hours. They seem to really love it and can’t leave it alone, lmao. Not only more volume of hay, but I think they love the structure of it and I do, too. It’s intriguing to them and a fun way of getting hay.

> 3 dayMy house bunnies were not eating their hay. I tried several kinds and they weren’t having it. I decided to give this hay feeder a try, and it was a hit. The bunnies are eating hay again. I’ve tried different feeders over the years, and this one has been the best. It’s smaller than I expected, but that has not been a problem.

> 3 dayI attached a water bottle holder to one side and now have an all-in-one feeding center for my guinea pig. I can just move the one item to his floor time or alternate habitat while cleaning his home. The bottom is great to put his pellets and forage so he can get all his needs met with less hay mess for me.
