I had originally purchased a cheaper potty seat to train my toddler on. He was definitely struggling and I could tell he wasn’t comfortable and needed the splash guard for more assurance. I bought this and could instantly tell my toddler felt more confident in sitting on the potty. Also, we don’t have it locked down as we only have one bathroom and have to remove it frequently so I can’t speak to that feature.

This seat is great. Its strong, stylish, and very comfortable on my little ones bum. Can sit on it for a long time without any sort of discomfort or indentations in the skin, unlike some cheaper seats. Very well made. The adjustable seat positioners could be a little bit more sturdy, but they get the job done well enough to hold the seat in place, unless your toddler is hyperactive on the potty.

Just purchased this toilet seat cover and couldnt be happier! I have a travel seat (potette) that can also be used on the big potty but my son never felt steady on it when it was on the big potty and refused to use it. So I did some research and ordered this one and as soon as I unpacked it he asked to go on the potty. Whoo hooo!! This one has LOTS of cushion and feels very sturdy. I like that you can put it on top of the big toilet seat or you can lift the seat up and it fits perfectly on the actual bowl. It feels very very sturdy either way. I also like the big handles because it helps my son feel secure. The splash guard is nice and high and the cushion is nice for those times when things take awhile. All around very happy with this purchase. Good luck to you fellow potty training parents out there!

I have to constantly latch it from underneath so it stops moving. I have a daughter and I put the splash guard on- so pee doesn’t sneak over the seat. The splash guard is always gross and I have to Clorox all the time. If this is a shared toilet; which mine is our guest room’s toilet too. Removing it off and on- gets annoying and the splash guard then drips pee. Kind of gross. However, it’s soft and easier to clean then the stair one she had for a while. The stair one had a velcro seat and the Velcro kept coming off and hair and pee would be underneath. So this is a step up.

I have a 3-year-old daughter Im trying to potty train. I have had one of those little potty chairs that sit on the ground but she has never liked using it. (Never did actually use it) I saw this potty toilet seat here on Amazon and I decided to buy it. My daughter thinks going to the potty is fun now and finally began going potty in the toilet. My toilet seat shape is an oval shape almost pointy but the potty seat fits perfectly and grips on. Its an easy clean up I dont have to dump out anything into the toilet because its already in there so we flush and wash our hands and go about our day =)

We have had a few potty training seats for my twin boys and this one is great. They are 2.5 years old and they fit on the contoured seat very well. I can tell it is way more comfortable to them than the other ones we have used (daycare, first one we ordered, grandma’s house). I would recommend if you are potty training for sure.

We have only just started using this seat. It’s got a great hold to toilet seat, strong plastic and great customer service. For one reason or another the first one we received snapped while installing side handle (the clip not seat) we were able to get a replacement quickly and problem free! The handles provide our child the support and comfort, he needs to start his journey into potty training !

Handles are a good idea. Little one feels safe sitting on the potty. She will actually go and try putting it on the toilet herself because she likes sitting on it.

We used this seat to potty train our 2.5 year old son. This seat is comfy and size worked great on our 2 different size toilet seats. For the record, we only sat it on top without tightening it down to an adult toilet seat because we have multiple bathrooms and lug it back and forth. Our son is comfortable, uses the handles for support (helps avoid having their hands all over) and it’s got great height protection on the front pee guard which is important for boy parents. My major disappointment is that I ordered a second seat (for his daycare) and the seat we received was obviously used, even though it was packaged as new. From the pictures you can see the obvious stains and use marks. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the luxury to return it because I needed it right away. I wiped it down with several disinfectant wipes. Though marks still remain. So please note, the star deduction is for sending clearly used and stained products. Big disappointment. Otherwise, I recommend this seat to help potty train.
