    The Cigar lighter in this old Datsun 260Z is recessed in the dash. This USB charger is nicely long enough to push in and get out easily without being too long. (I had one that was too short and nearly impossible to remove) This one is perfect for my needs.

    If phone displays message to use a Samsung charger and goes into a very slow charge mode, then try another cable like one from Anker. Anker knows this and should state this in their product info. From info found on the internet, not all USB cables are the same. Some have 4 wires, some have 5, or pins shorted.

    Ive had cheap USB car chargers. I bought this one because it seemed of higher quality and it is. Both my wife and I have one in our cars. It is nice to have an additional charging cable for your guest, too.
