Seemed pretty study and wellmade... until the real wind started blowing during the rain. Yeah, its not really windproof. Got my hopes up.

“I’m from Seattle— I don’t need an umbrella.” First of all, that’s a lie. Lived here all my life and you won’t catch me without an umbrella on a rainy day here LOL. This umbrella has been great so far. Strong, sturdy & hasn’t flipped upwards yet on me in the wind.

I just recevied this umbrella and I really like it. It has single button push to extend and when you push the button again it collapses (not completely, you still have to push it down to lock it}. The umbrella is quite sturdy. I havent tried it in a strong wind yet but I think it will hold up pretty well. I really like the little soft case it came with. It has a zipper on it to more easily put the umbrella away when youre finished with it. Overall, I really like it and I would buy it again.

Compact, sturdy, and so simple to use. Feels good, looks good, gets the job done. I wouldnt look at anything more expensive - this literally does the job!

What else to say? I always need an umbrella, and I find that most of the super cheap ones I pick up at the drugstores on rainy does only last a short time before breaking completely (it doesnt help that Chicagos winds are fierce). Ive tried to find a good balance of small/portability with effectiveness and Im hoping this one does the trick. Its a little heavier than I would prefer, but Im hoping that will make it even stronger against the winds. It seems solidly built and has held up in one rain storm already. The quick release lever is easy to push and retracting the umbrella back doesnt sap all your strength. Hope it keeps up the good work.

Overall this is a good umbrella. Our issues however have to do with the handle that is too small to grip correctly with our slightly large hands and it shoots out quite quickly and abruptly when you push the button, which may or may not make you jump. Now, other than that, like I said, it is quite a good umbrella and does its job well, especially for the cost.

Im so tired of the small umbrellas that wind up completly worthless. This umbrella is very sturdy. It weighs a bit more than the cheaper umbrellas, but you will see that when you open it up it is much larger and stronger than its competition. I havent tested it on a windy day, but it looks like it would pop back if it turned inside out from the wind. The case is a nice addition, although Id probably use a velcro close over a zipper.

I just received this umbrella. It seems sturdy. There was a windy rain storm this morning and I decided to break it out as I bought this for travelling next week. My first impression is its heavy. Not annoyingly heavy. But its weighty if you need to watch your weight while travelling. The handles has a little play. But its sturdy and it withstood the wind for the little time I used it. Its good enough for me. I will backpack in my carryon rather than pack with my checkin luggage.

After going through (and losing) so many pocketable umbrellas over the years, I guess I forgot what a heavy duty umbrella feels like. My first impression after I have taken this umbrella out from the package was that it has quite substantial weight on it and it felt sturdy. Having only used traditional umbrellas, I found that the one-click-open-close mechanism refreshing - no more wet hair when trying to get into the car. It took a while for me to get used to the closing gesture since the spring is quite strong, but it was easy after I figured out to use both endpoints. I thought it would be much larger than many pocketable umbrellas being at 42 inches across, but it is only 12 inches when collapsed. It can easily fit two people under and the handle is solid and comfortable to hold. One thing I felt weird about was the shaft has a slight bounce due to the fact that it is relying on the springs extension to stay open. I dont have any problem so far though, especially with the Teflon coating, nothing is staying and weighting the top down. But it might be a problem if using it under high wind.

Its ok but it is a bit flimsy. Its smaller than the claim that can fit two people.
