It is definitely sturdy and perfect for heavy rain. It opens wide too. Only thing I find it is a bit on the heavier side. But overall I am happy with this purchase.

I took this umbrella to Scotland. It rained and was very windy…talking strong winds. The umbrella got flipped inside out and one point but when I was able to right it, it wasn’t broken like I thought it would be. Scotland has pretty strong wind so I’m impressed. And it fit right in the side pocket of my little book bag. I’m happy with the purchase.

Its a nice umbrella but unfortunately, on my second use, I brought it to my church and left it in the umbrella basket, when I went back to get it, its gone. Probably going to get a replacement but its weird how when I bought it its only 15.99 and now it became 16.99. I only brought it like two weeks ago....what is this price change

Extremely good quality item. Easy to recommend item and seller. Ive been using it for about a month now (of course, not every day) and it is better than Id expected for the price paid. I may get another one as a backup.

Overall this is a good umbrella. Our issues however have to do with the handle that is too small to grip correctly with our slightly large hands and it shoots out quite quickly and abruptly when you push the button, which may or may not make you jump. Now, other than that, like I said, it is quite a good umbrella and does its job well, especially for the cost.

I liked the umbrella until I walked in a windy rainy day. We were a group of six and my new umbrella was the only one that got turned up and I had to hold the edge. Will spend more money when buying another umbrella to possibly avoid this issue. Other than it is a good size and attractive.

At first I thought $15 was expensive for an umbrella, but I now see that there is a huge quality difference between this one, and the cheap ones you can pick up at any store for $5. The handle is not that thin cheap plastic stuff. Its durable, the perfect size, and comfortable to hold. It has a little grip to it, so it wont slip out of your hand like the smooth plastic ones. I didnt realize how great this feature was until we did an hour walk in the rain. I usually struggle to hold my umbrella. The open/close mechanism is strong. Like if it slips back when youre closing it in front of you, you could break a rib! But it fully opens in a flash, no assistance needed. I havent used it on a really windy day but I can tell that the pole in the middle is made well. There is no jiggling or play in the umbrella when its open. The cover is nice quality and has a zipper for easy slip in. This would be good for travel, as it is compact, but is not as lightweight as the plastic ones. However this one will last and function well for years to come. Im ordering another one!
