Anti-Theft Active Medium Crossbody Messenger Bag, Teal

I love Travelon bags, I now have tho. I had a smaller purse size that I use for everyday. But needed something just a little larger to accommodate travel items when we took day trips -- like water bottle, notebook, travel guide. It wears well across the body so you can feel safe when traveling abroad. I like the feature that you can unhook the strap and lock and the locking zipper so that you can lock it to your chair while dining.

Planning to take a trip abroad and needed a handy day bag. This looks like itll be perfect. Its well made, very attractive and exactly the right size to carry stuff needed for the day and yet not be too large or bulky. It tucks nicely under the arm, has a thick strap that looks impervious to being slashed and fits comfortably across the chest. The textured fabric and teal color with black interior and zippers looks very classy. The zippers are substantial and move easily and the stitching is perfect. The zipper pulls have clever little clips that are easy to open, but once clipped onto the metal rings would make life difficult for a pickpocket to get open. The shoulder strap can be unclipped from its ring so that the strap can be tethered through the back of a chair. The whole thing has RFID blocking technology so someone cant read your credit cards through the bag. Its not super lightweight, but not bad. It weighs about as much as other purses or bags I have of the same size. I like the fact that the bottle carrier on the side can be zipped closed if you dont want to use it for a bottle and can probably double to carry an umbrella. My only complaint is that the bottle carrier is not big enough for my plastic water bottle, but I can always put it inside the purse. All in all, really pleased with my purchase and looking forward to putting it to the test on my trip to Europe.

Unfortunately a part of the zipper puller was broken and the zipper tag kept falling off. Otherwise very sturdy and well made.

I purchased this bag for a NYC/London trip and it did NOT disappoint! Plenty of room to carry things around the city. It was waterproof and the locks provided extra assurance in large crowds. Found the sunglass holder towards the end of the trip. I think I’ve found my permanent travel bag!

I have bought brand before but this one is a much more cheaply made version. The black trim flaking off makes it look really cheap. I wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews that mentioned the peeling trim. Would not recommend.

Great travel item. Holds plenty of stuff. It feels like there are two layers of security that will thwart any pickpocket. The main zipper clips closed and there is an additional zippered compartment for.credit cards and money. Would highly recommend this item.

I purchased this bag for a trip to Europe last year. The bag held what I needed and was not at all heavy. However, we got caught in many downpours. When we returned to the hotel I found that everything inside my bag was soaking wet, not damp but wet, my wallet, papers, camera, everything. Considering this is microfiber I was surprised. When I now travel with this bag I bring a plastic bag with me to put the bag into during rain. This really shouldnt be needed. Security wise I was very pleased. However is is apparent Travelon never thought about rain during testing? Suggestion: Put your passport in a ziplock bag.
