Greater than one weekI bought this bag for travel because of the safety features (cut-proof strap, scan-proof pocket, and zipper clips). I also like that the water bottle pocket zips up when not in use. Ive ended up using this almost daily for the past 6 months and it is holding up great. Would definitely recommend it.

> 3 dayThe size is a little misleading in the pictures, i was expecting something along the lines of a small messenger bag, but its more like a medium sized purse. The bottle holder may look awkward but will hold a 14oz bottle easily.

> 3 dayI wanted to love this bag, but I could barely see what was inside. I have an old Travelon bag thats dark blue but has a light grey lining so I can see easily see everything. I need a bag for traveling, but sadly, this isnt it.

> 3 dayThis bag was a little bigger than I thought it was going to be, but it actually turned out to be a perfect size. We traveled abroad and I always felt it to be very secure. It was a perfect purchase.

> 3 dayI purchased this bag for a trip to Europe last year. The bag held what I needed and was not at all heavy. However, we got caught in many downpours. When we returned to the hotel I found that everything inside my bag was soaking wet, not damp but wet, my wallet, papers, camera, everything. Considering this is microfiber I was surprised. When I now travel with this bag I bring a plastic bag with me to put the bag into during rain. This really shouldnt be needed. Security wise I was very pleased. However is is apparent Travelon never thought about rain during testing? Suggestion: Put your passport in a ziplock bag.

> 3 dayOnly thing I would change is the black lining - can be a little hard to find other dark/black items. But other than that, the size is small enough to appear like a small purse, yet big enough to carry a DSLR camera and lens, sunscreen, scarp, wallet, etc. 2 of the 3 external pockets have a latch thats quick enough for me to access but discouraging enough for pick pocketers. Love the color.

> 3 dayI am always on a quest for the perfect bag. I may have found the perfect bag for travel. This is a bag that I would put in my suitcase and then use while out and about during the day. I have a carry-on and this one is not big enough or set up for an under-seat bag since I put containers holding Bose headphones and reading material in that bag. Anyway, this bag has security features that appear adequate. its light and will hold a medium (16.9 fl oz) bottle of water. Its big enough to hold binoculars, a light nylon coat or windbreaker, and some guide book(s) and travel material. Im a guy and its basically a nurse. They caution women (and most do who are careful) to carry theyre purses at their side with their arm through the strap. I was carefully carry a shoulder bag once (in Lisbon) with it just over my right shoulder. Someone unzipped it and got my wallet and I never knew until I got to our restaurant. That was a lesson for me. So now I have a shoulder bag that looks fairly masculine that I can carry like a purse. And the exposed zippers lock closed. One still has to be watchful. Read about how to avoid pickpockets and do your best to follow the advice.

08-06-2025I replaced my first Travelon cross body bag after several years of use with this lovely teal color. I love the pockets and it feels great except for the strap which isn’t sewn the same as my first one and is taking some time to get used to. The zipper, mesh pocket to hold a water bottle is only good for sunglasses. I use metal water bottles and they do not fit.

> 3 dayIt is a great bag. However someone is color blind. I ordered Jade. But what I got was a light navy blue. Still pretty but it’s sure not what I ordered. Other then that love it
